Why were you banned or warned?

I was warned for "RDM/FRP"

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I should have my warning removed because the entire situation in which I was warned had confusion and disclarity.
I raided a base of people. I raided them because they had entities inside, and because of that reason I assumed they were raidable, regardless of having their building sign up.
The confusion in the sit was what entities counted as raidable entities.

For example, this line says

"Fading door limit is 3 doors protecting your items. You may only require raiders go through 3 doors to get to your entities/bank vault."

This leads me to believe that any entities that are protected by fading doors are considered raidable.

This line also just verbatim says "any entities" which technically should be anything that isn't directly spawnable through the prop spawning menu.

"Placing a building sign prevents you from being raided, but you may not have any entities or any form of making money. This is a ban-able offense"

By that last line, word for word, I should not have broken any rules when raiding my targets, because they did have an entity inside, which would make their building sign invalid.

He was raiding them because they had a boombox and armor stations. that's the entities he's talking about

and i believe you can only raid for money making ents such as Loot boxes | Money Printers | Processor | Bit Miners | Harvest Processor | Any drug plants | Meth tents |
to me it sounds like you were just raiding to kill the player raiding for a Boombox and armor stations like bruh........
i think your warn is reasonable

Yea if you were raiding for a boom box and armor station then your raid was not valid. They are allowed to have those down in a base with a building sign. -1 for any warn removal.

DO NOT raid public bases. Some people just wanna chill, don't ruin their fun if they have no goods in their public base. Boomboxes are not counted as goods

 

• Placing a building sign prevents you from being raided, but you may not have any entities or any form of making money. This is a bannable offense. IF you DO place any entities or any form of making money while your Building Sign is up, the building sign becomes VOID and your base will be raidable. If you are not sure whether or not someone has entities while having a building sign, call a staff member to check the base.

I have to agree with Terrry here if you were raiding  for a boombox and a armor station then your raid is invalid. Im -1 for this warn removal

The confusion lied in what the rules said verbatim, if we're going off of what words the rules say, the building sign should be invalid regardless of what type of entities are in the base.

This says any entities OR any form of making money, separating money-making entities and any other entities, it doesn't just say any money-making entities.

If what the rules say is just wrong according to everyone else, then it shouldn't be my fault for raiding directly off the information the rules gave me at the time.

It's pretty obvious that this rule is meant for raidable/stealable entities aka money making. I don't see why some one shouldn't have a boombox while building. I'm going to have to -1 this warn appeal

The rule separates money-making entities and other entities, it makes no sense for it to separate both if it only adds confusion and has no purpose to do so. If nobody follows what the rule says then the rule should be changed on the rules page and people shouldn't be punished for following the rules verbatim until it is changed.

 

When new players join they're expected to read and follow the rules, but if a group of new people were to join and follow what that says word for word they would be punished. It doesn't make sense.
