Guest
In-Game Name Sae Your Steam ID STEAM_0:0:71712270 Why were you banned or warned? I was warned for killing Hyder after warning him three times to stop following me. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Because I warned him three times like I was supposed to do. He was following me and obviously about to arrest me for having an swep out. Who warned/banned you? Hyder How long were you warned or banned for? Warn https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/1UASVPCUqyGmBM/d1337t9jPzHp?invite=cr-MSwza08sMTIwMDMxNTM3LA} This is me warning Hyder three times to quit following me. https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/1UAUilt9Jl0c9Q/d13378jmrouC?invite=cr-MSxlOTIsMTIwMDMxNTM3LA This is the sit. This is the reason why people are having a hard time with the server, to be honest. It's making me not really want to play with people like Hyder and Dev2 finding any way they can to warn or ban people. This is what I followed below. This is what he used to justify the ban which was incorrect for this situation. He was following and kept following me after I kept warning him so I defended myself. He was a cop and had intent to arrest me as sweps were AOS and I didn't have a gun license. Edited February 11 by Sae Added more.
Ironfish1
Hello Sae, after reviewing your evidence I see Hyder following you and attempting to engage in a conversation. You warned him as per our rules, then killed him. I see no RDM in this clip. +1 for a full appeal and educating Hyder on our Warn system. Edit: Just saw that clip of the sit, it says do not warn for any general actions, which would be like walking down the street, looking at someone, etc... General actions are unavoidable and that is why they are exempt. Purposefully chasing someone down with a jump swep to try and ask them a question is not a general action. Smelly
+1 for warn removal and a strike/discussion with Hyder as he was just warned for NLR today. He is specifically following you, not just walking down the road, he didn’t just happen to be standing by you and/or looking at you. Actively pursuing someone is far different than the general actions rule. Also interesting he said he didn’t know you had a swep out but took his out to actively pursue you further and saw you flying through the air
Enowapi
+1 for warning removal and talking to hyder the rule he quoted isnt what was demonstrated in the clip as you didnt warn him for walking down the street he was perusing you to try and cuff you for sweps

Rubik
The rule he refers to in the sit prevents you from walking up to other people and warning them for no reason. It does not forbid you from warning someone who's following you around. He is clearly following you in this video. Also it's probably not a good idea for staff to accept or create sits involving themselves. If you're not the only staff on, bring in a third person just to be 100% sure you're making the right call.
