I was banned for the abuse of the pickle roles Mass RP Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I was not previously aware of the restriction regarding teleporting individuals during a raid, and I accept full responsibility for my oversight in this matter. Before this incident occurred, I sought clarification from a staff member, who informed me that it was acceptabel with the condition that it was not used excessively and did not lead to harassment. Additionally, it's worth noting that a staff member was actively involved in the raid, which has raised questions regarding their decision not to intervene or advise against my actions while they were being present in call with me. I kindly request a one-time pardon for this incident. Who warned/banned you? I will address your concerns in order as you presented them. 1) I understand not being aware of the rules, however ignorance is not a valid defense. When you play on the TitsRP server you agree to play by the server rules. On the top of the rules it explicitly states this: "Not reading the rules is your own fault, our rules differ from most servers.". 2) When I asked you the name of the staff member you said you could not remember, even though you asked him less than 24 hours ago. Due to you not having any evidence of being misinformed by staff, I sadly can not believe that statement. 3) The staff member actively involved in the raid has been spoken to and the SMod+ team is discussing the best course of action moving forward with said staff member. Due to you self admittedly accepting full responsibility, and the fact that you have 2 warns for breaking raiding rules, and now two bans, I will be a -1 for this ban appeal. Any form of mass rule breaking defaults to a 1 week ban ( with no previous offenses ), as much as I can agree that this ban was more than valid, I also understand you had a staff member with you and you probably thought you weren't doing anything against the rules. Yes, you should read the rules to have prevented this from happening but putting myself in your shoes if I had a staff member with me I would also think I'm in the clear. But at the same time if there is a major rule break how are we as staff supposed to make it stop, sometimes a warn is not enough and we must go straight to a ban. Although you have not been given a ban or warn for this specifc reason in the past your earliest warn is from august 2nd 2018 and as Ironfish1 brought up 12 hours ago, Ironfish1 said: "Not reading the rules is your own fault, our rules differ from most servers." you have been apart of the TitsRP community for quite sometime and I doubt that you did not know about job abuse rules. Furthermore "Exploiting is using a feature in an unintended manner to give yourself an advantage. If caught exploiting the punishment will vary depending on how much of an advantage the exploiter gains. This ranges from being humiliated to being issued 6 month ban." this is apart of our "proper punishments" guidelines and I think you are lucky to have only received a week ban due to the fact your advantage was infinitely larger than those you targeted your wish with and if the banning staff member wanted to they could have given you a longer ban. -1 for unban / -1 for reduction. So I would be understanding if you did this the first few days of you coming back, but you have played for a few weeks at this point I believe. Which is plenty of time to read up on any new rules that may have changed since you last played. If you did do this the first week you came back, I would be willing to +1 for a reduction but that's not the case. -1 for unban / -1 for reduction. kez Posted October 18, 2023 Share Posted October 18, 2023 After reading everyone's input, and your side of the situation, I'll say it is a valid punishment since it was mass failrp and mass anything is a week, BUT I believe in rules being misinterpreted and know many players that accidentally do mass something and wouldn't repeat it again, where personally I would give second chances/reductions.
