"Hacking". No further explanation provided. I don't know what type of "hacking".

I was in the RDM zone. People who play against me know I'm generally a pretty good player. I don't think it's unfair to say that.

 

Staff did not elaborate on exactly *what* type of cheats. Aimbot? BHop scripts? Don't know. Admin didn't say. I presume aimbot. People accuse me of doing this all the time. Usually it amounts to nothing because I'm not cheating. This time, I was pulled into a sit, and was informed that I was being banned for 6 months. I offered to upload a Youtube video before they banned me, but they declined, somehow only wanting 720p30fps Discord streaming.

 

I have never cheated in any game. Never aimbotted. Never scripted. Anything of that sort. I have over 4.2k hours and haven't been banned from a GMod server once. I have 82 days of playtime on this server. The 1 ban on record is from Fish, who can attest that he accidentally banned me instead of the person I reported. I have no VAC bans. 

 

But of course my words mean nothing without evidence. Therefore I will provide video of the RDM zone in question which clearly shows that I'm not aimbotting. My aim is even worse than my normal. I always figured that because I'm good at RDM zone this might happen. I remember what happened to Baandit before, so since then I've always been recording RDM zone footage. He was banned because a mod spectated him as well. I don't have anything to hide, so here's the clip right before I got banned. Sadly I don't have anything before that. I wasn't anticipating being banned today.

 

And if that isn't enough, I'll provide more. These aren't the latest, but surely they'll prove that I'm clearly not aimbotting. As for BHop scripting, you can clearly see me fail a lot of hops. Don't know what else to say. I can't prove I can BHop the same on TitsRP since I'm banned, but I'd be happy to prove that I am not a BHop scripter if I can get on the server to record. Hopefully when you see these clips you'll see that I don't have anything to hide. The only thing I use is a crosshair. These are clips from a few days ago.

I have literal clips of me beating aimbotters. They aren't hard to deal with if you can crouch jump. These clips show what ACTUAL aimbotting looks like.

Please excuse the chatter in the background of this video. I was in a call with friends who were watching random cringe videos.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in the conduct of the staff. Whatever evidence they have, it clearly isn't conclusive enough or they did not take enough steps to ensure that the evidence is a clear and accurate representation of what was going on. I am willing to provide more evidence if necessary.

I've seen April for a while in game, and from their history, I haven't seen any evidence of cheating. Through the clips provided, nothing looks crazy. No history of cheating, I'm inclined to assume based on everything provided, that there is no cheating taking place. There isn't any suspicious snapping, or walling, it genuinely looks like good gameplay. I see the clip cuts off at the sit, how long was that sit? Were you able to provide your evidence to the staff member?

I think the issue here is that you play like a hacker, just stop being so good dummy, nah but I do agree with coconut there has never been solid proof to back up evidence of you hacking. I'd say unless that day comes there's not a whole lot for us to go off of here.

Discussed with Mav, we should not be punishing for hacks unless we have physical proof of cheating. Cheating is not something to interpret, and if the clips were viewed and more care was taken in information gathering, a ban may have been prevented. 

April will be unbanned, and the ban removed. All staff involved with this situation will have a talking to in regarding to proper sit procedure, and how to declare hacks correctly.
