Hello Mr.Nipple LockSmith. Here is the clip of you calling Hyder a child predator for him simply doing his job.

 

I would like to respond to "I was being extorted for 10 mil so I didn't get banned  I wasn't aware of the rule and was just being playful and mod was encouraging the extortion"

 

You and Hyder were the only people talking during the sit. You did ask me for my opinion on Hyder asking for compensation for your mistake and I told you that I was just there to do my job and it is your choice. He is allowed to ask for compensation as it is up to the reporting player if he wants you punished or not.

 

As you can see in the clip, you did not jokingly ask him if he was a pedo. I viewed this as a Personal attack(and so did Hyder), as you are directly calling him a child predator. That is why I don't believe a warning was permitted.

 

Personal attacks on other players should result in a 3-day ban - 1-week ban - 2-week ban depending on continued offenses/previous history

Ok so it is clear you didn’t ask if he was that. It shows you said he was a predator. I’m not sure if you got confused or not but I would suggest making sure you know what you said, but yea saying that about someone can result in a ban depending on what the staff member wants to do.

So considering this is a ban appeal and not a report i am going ahead and giving a -1 for your unban. What you said is most def not allowed and it does count as a personal attack against hyder. Now if you want to make a report then you can do so in the report section. I suggest wait out your ban/read the rules as well.

Hi! You should’ve been banned for a week, not three days, but considering the fact that you seemed to be joking, I don’t see this as being as that big of a deal. You should, however, think about things for a second and understand that no gmod server is going to want pedophilic remarks/accusations, joking or not. This game legitimately has a problem with weirdos like that, and just about every server owner I know legitimately hates them and wants nothing to do with the subject matter. It should seriously fall under common sense to not call someone a child predator.
 

As far as the extortion thing goes, I want to hear more details and see some proof. We not only don’t have any proof to go off of, but there also just isn’t enough context for us to fully see what he was doing. I’ve been in sits with Hyder, and truthfully he was probably just screwing with you before you got banned, which is something he does. There’s no real harm in it, but if things were more serious than that, or if there was staff involvement beyond letting him screw with you a little, I’d like to know. 

 

Outside of this, though, you really should know better. If it’s something you could get sued for or get the shit beaten out of you for IRL, it’s probably not a good idea to repeat it online lol. Of course shit talking is fine but there’s a line of legality/severity that you shouldn’t have crossed. It’s just a three day, which is a slap on the wrist for something we often ban for six months for. I would take it on the chin and consider it a lesson.
