I received a verbal for false demote, but it was not a false demote vote. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I was RDA'd by Zaybix, Steam ID STEAM_0:1:97881356. I made a simple report for it, and the moderator pulled us in. The first thing he said was "he used a scanner and that's why he arrested you." Before I could say anything, he sent the other person back. I quickly explained that I was not wanted; this person had just walked up to me and cuffed me. The moderator brought the other person back and explained that I was not wanted when he arrested me. The cop said he had wanted me almost 10 minutes ago. I have a clip showing that I was not wanted when I was arrested. So because I was wanted ten minutes ago and the wanted had expired, it was still okay to arrest me? The moderator in question tried pulling up logs showing I was wanted, saying that we had been in the sit for a long time, which was impossible based on the logs I have shown. He refused to listen to me explain and instead took the cop's side, refused to warn him for RDA, and verbally warned me for false demote. Who warned/banned you? Like I said if you call a sit for AOS don't also demote. riddim Posted July 19, 2023 Share Posted July 19, 2023 Before anything I'm going to copy and paste this rule below, you can find it in the "Common sense rules ( mostly not ) " section. If someone failed to perform their job functions correctly (Ex: A cop let their friend have a gun without a license) you can /demote them. If they broke a rule against you (Ex: RDM) you could demote them but we highly suggest calling a sit. Contact someone before calling a /demote on them for breaking a rule against you. If you are unsure, ask for staff assistance. I understand the frustration of getting RDA'd, in this case you weren't RDA'd. The detectives job is to track down killers from dropped evidence and arrest them, you having a $5000 bounty makes me believe you've killed a number of people and in your logs screenshot it even shows you killed someone 90 seconds prior to getting arrested. In the future please do not call a demote on top of a sit, if you're unsure just call a sit and we'd be more than happy to help you out. There's a stipulation somewhere that the officer arresting you hast to have knowledge about the bounty. If you recall in the sit, the person who RDA'd me claimed they did it because of the want and NOT because of the bounty. They didn't have any knowledge that I had a bounty, therefore, it is still considered RDA. And you didn't give me the chance to show you that video earlier, which would have cleared up this entire stupid thing. F___ Posted July 19, 2023 Share Posted July 19, 2023 Honestly based on this I agree with you on this and it was RDA. if the detective was arresting you for scanning evidence dropped on the floor you would have been wanted because it automatically makes you wanted when scanned and if he was going off an older one once you become unwanted for it he can’t come find you and want you again for it. Even though we can’t see what you did before you went around that building in the street in this clip it seems like he just came up out of nowhere and arrested you. While yes you did have a bounty he clearly wasn’t interested in fining you for a bounty seeing as he wanted you straight after cuffing you instead of wanted you before which would have been the proper thing to do. I realize that but this is more a complaint regarding how the moderator handled it. Before I could even talk, he had already sent the guy back and was about to do the same to me. He didn't check any evidence I had, he let the other guy talk down to me, and overall just didn't give a single shit. I wouldn't have been so steamed had the mod actually done his job properly.
