Why were you banned or warned?

I got shot by a gun called the "You go kaboom' which apparently turns me into a crip while I was a blood. I later killed a lot of crips without me knowing that I was shot from that specific gun and then I was Puller by a Admin called "Ironfish1" I was teleported into a jail cell and then swiftly banned for "mrdm' even though I was a blood and not a crip.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I should be unbanned because of the misunderstanding the admin made.

howdy ghost, I was there for all the havoc that was going on, there was a player in spawn with a crip cannon spamming everyone. i can see how this could cause a misunderstanding but i would like to hear ironfish's response.

                               Hello Ghost512, I would like to start this off by saying that I understand and sympathize with you being upset for receiving a seven day ban. However I feel through proof I was more than justified to ban you for Mass RDM, considering you killed six people that were not Crips, and that did not damage you first/even have any sort of weapon out. On top of that you were reported by two people for RDM. Upon bringing you to the sit room with JailTP I asked you why you were killing so many people and instead of responding or fighting your side you continued to jump around in the jail saying "Cuz' I'm a Blood ni**uh, it's what we bloods do out here, this just a big misunderstanding I'm a blood man get me out of here". Upon realizing that you were not going to cooperate in the sit at all I decided to check logs to see exactly how many people you killed for seemingly no reason. Once I came to the conclusion it was more than enough for a MassRDM ban I then proceeded to check your warns to figure out if I should just give you a 1-3 day ban instead, upon seeing your warns I noticed you had quite the history but nothing recent enough to warrant me pushing the MRDM. However when I checked your previous bans I saw nine previous bans for MRDM. That proved to me that you have still not learned your lesson and you were only on here to hamper everyone else's experience on this server just so you could have fun. I am a -1 for this ban appeal. All of the evidence will be below this post.

Being fair since you literally got off a ban the day prior to this you could have been banned for 2 weeks for doing it back to back.

question for the staff. did yall put into consideration that all the people he killed may have looked like crips to him? Cause ironfish never did say if any of those people were hit with the crips cannon and looking like crips

In the logs provided by the banning staff member shows how you killed many people that weren't even crips, i'm gonna go with a -1 for this one

 

I said that "it shows how you killed many people that werent crips", but what if those people looked like crips because of the crip cannoneer at spawn? if the kills were done at a medium-long distance i would understand that there is no way to check the players' username and their job at such distances since you can only see it at close proximity

Hey Ghost, I also was in the same situation as you where during that time where I was shot by the cannon and it took me a moment to realize that I was a crip myself, so I agree with Kiezuh here, a misunderstanding seems possible. 

 

The crip cannon changes player models and not jobs, therefor this is not something that would show in job logs.  It also does not show in damage logs as no one gets damaged.  Since bloods and crips are KOS to each, firing at everyone who looks like a crip would be understandable. 

 

Here are a few examples of that:

The following instance shows citizens and a pianist all in a crip model as well as myself being killed as a blood.  The kill log for myself at the end will show that I was killed as a blood and not as a crip even though that's what my model had been changed to.  Death logs would show like this for anyone who was made to be the crip model with the cannon.

These are not exact clips of your situation, I am just placing them to help explain the chaos of that time and what I am talking about here

 

Had I not been right in the middle of it all, there is a good chance I would have thought exactly as Ironfish1 did in this so I can also see where he was coming from only from looking on logs.

Chevy how would I know if they were citizens or not? there was a guy in spawn with a crip cannon that turns people into crips? you cant get rid of it by respawning and also I was a blood and I thought the people I killed were real crips.
