Joke or not there are things you just shouldn't say at all and that is one of them. All in all, I definitely feel like your ban is deserved. -1

Maybe cause, once again it was verbal Irony? the "if she's 13 then i'm 13" line isn't even the age I was told that she is. It's even a situation irony because she isn't 13! That's the humour in itself because it's also a false statement. With this tomfoolery in mind, it should be implied that it's completely and utterly satirical, that is the joke, and if saying that in chat is what gets an individual a perm ban, and ddosing or hacking on the server doesn't, then I'm not sure what to think of our standard for fairness.

Saying this as someone who's dealt with these things more than I'd like to admit. I feel like you continuing after the whole "I'm 13" thing just screams sus and that you're trying to reflect the fact it got sent to us leading to your ban so you don't look as bad.

And after looking through your responses in this appeal, you know that you're clearly in the wrong here.

 

Your actions carry consequences whether it be good or bad, and you knew that at one point you were crossing the line especially with the whole "If you're 13 I'm 13" comment.

 

This isn't something where there is ever a time or place to joke around about. Plus there is no humor within this even if you think there was irony or  stating that you were being satirical.

After reading through this thread, I was initially starting to see why this could have been a misunderstanding. One point, however, that I can't get past is the "If you're 13 I'm 13" comment. You admit to making this comment and it just rubs me the wrong way, even in a joking context, you should know that this is completely out of line and borderline predatory. I would be extremely uncomfortable if someone said this to my daughter, and I'm sure whoever this person's guardian is would be mortified upon reading that comment, regardless of its intent.

 

For the reasons outlined above, and the other moderators' input, I will be -1 for this scenario.

From reading what my fellow staff members are saying it appears that you have attempted to leave out details in your appeal to make light of this situation. This sort of behavior in a scenario like this is incredibly concerning to me and even if you had come out and come completely clean about it I still don't think that I would agree with this appeal. Regardless of the situation you should know that what you were doing, trolling or not, is abhorrent, disgusting, and not something that any self respecting human would want to listen to or be subjected to hearing. My suggestion to you would be to take some time to think about what you've done and possibly make another appeal at a later time (enough time that you can genuinely say you've thought about what you've done and why it was wrong). For now this is a -1 from me.

Yes the negative connotation associated with this sentence is the irony. Poking fun at that kind of predatory behavior, hence the exclamation points. If it isn't clear enough I said this to humor the situation with Police Brutality Unit after he had me go about "rizzing up" for 30-40 mins then telling me she's underaged only then. So in contrast to that shitstorm of an act that he had me do for a half hours as viewed as entertainment, that's why I said that line.

I absolutely was not trying to leave this out, I did not remember that line until the line was brought up in logs because I payed no significance to the line, being pulled from a slapstick last joke I gave it no mind. I even offered in the appeal initially that I'm willing to expand and elaborate on things that needed further detail. It was brought up and I addressed it. I'm not trying to hide anything. The "Depth of the situation" that you staff are trying to make me realize, was a misalignment of humor. Yes it was immature humor, but it was intended to be SOLELY and ONLY humor. Once again, "If you're 13 then I'm 13!" was a line born out of irony and frustration that this guy in the game told me to rizz up someone and not telling me they were underaged until much time later. I was baited into this situation and tried to humor it. 

 

I'd like to add on that you know there was no indication that Ashley was uncomfortable or wanted me to stop. she just kept giggling along and playing along. I had no idea I was being baited into this situation until the end (hence admin sit). Once again I had NO idea Ashley was uncomfortable not once did she go “can u stop this” or anything like she didn’t give me a direct response at all. I must say that the incompetence of another player put me into a false sense of security? It's quite unfair because reality does not work like that at all. if you're going to a higher up about harassment or some shit one of the first things they’ll respond is “did u ask them to stop?” like I thought it was hobo dad interjecting his opinion when the admin sit occurred because I was under the impression that it was all shits and giggles since Ashley was giggling and laughing along the whole situation, with Police Brutality Unit watching the entertainment. absolutely
even if the jokes were not in the admins taste, there was a misunderstanding in some way shape or form because the perception of humor that was meant to be harmless.
I also never realized ERP means Erotic Role Play which is NOT what we were doing.

In my perspective it feels like a "guys let's remove you from the community over an unspoken rule you know nothing about! get fucked! shouldn't have made an edgy jokes on a server called TitsRP! I really should've known TitsRP has unspoken rules against edgy sexual jokes! And even after humoring with the "If she's 13 then I'm 13"
line, nothing more is implied. It wasn't ERP, reciting copy paste pickup lines and vice versa. it's like the government charging for pissing in the woods to a life sentence without telling anybody. it's frowned upon but not normally illegal, but now you're getting locked up for life for something that doesn't affect anyone.  Basically in public it's illegal, but outdoors it isn't necessarily? With due respect, the "line" was being read too deeply for something meant to be treated at face value on the surface level. 

I still feel that the context of the humor isn't being understood regardless if it was in bad taste.
The humor in it is that it makes people go "Yo wtf did he just say? LMAOO WHAT" because it isn't something someone normally would say. Poking fun at the absurdness of line and the type of people who do literally say this kinda shit and act predatory. Another player told me to rizz up a certain player, and that I would get access to THE ALLEGED SECRET DISCORD SERVER. Under no circumstances was any of what I was doing, meant for more than the surface level role playing of "being a tease."  I was given the literal task of "Rizzing up a player for a discord invite" which the task at hand from it's foundation is a joke.

I did not care for creating nor keeping any kind of relationship nor having more intent towards the player than that interaction. I thought of her as nothing more than a fellow player of the server. I payed no mind to the "jokes/humor" I was making because none of it was meant to be taken literally. 

I'm not leaving information out of my application, I've been continuously addressing everything to my memory. I didn't bring up the line in particular because I thought it didn't play any significance. It brushed over my head and was forgotten because of context of the line/depth of the situation was "this is a slapstick joke." 

I apologize for making this humor on the server, but I'm being defensive because it was taken the wrong way. Nobody was supposed to be "rubbed off the wrong way" because it was ironic. In my eyes, this situation was an instance of verbal slapstick comedy. That's all there is to it and nothing more to it. NO further meaning was meant to come out of what happened. 

I did not know or was aware I was crossing a boundaries with that "line" because I was blinded by the fact that I thought the whole situation was a  comedy. This, I am sorry for.
