Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

First, I would like to start this appeal by sincerely apologizing for my actions last night, and I was banned for a valid reason. I've played on the server over the past week or so and have enjoyed playing on it, and I followed the rules until last night regarding NLR. I want to explain the situation; however, I am not saying that my behavior is okay, but there was some misunderstanding between me and whoever had reported to me/banned me. That misunderstanding is 100% my fault. This morning around maybe 1 AM, I was under the impression this individual and I were just messing around and having some sniper battles back and forth on the island in the ocean. I never received any form of communication saying this was not the case; however, I should not have assumed that this person was okay with having sniper battles back and forth on that island. Even if they had said it was okay, I would've still been breaking the rules. I really do apologize to the person that reported me. I thought we were just messing around and having some sniper battles, but that was not the case, and that's my fault. I'm sorry if I ruined your night/morning by having sniper battles with you. Next time, if I want to have sniper battles with somebody, I will go to the RDM Zone because that way, we are following all the server rules and can continue to have sniper battles without disrupting anybody else in the server that wishes to role-play. I know there's a good chance that this appeal will not get accepted, and I'm okay with that because everything here is 100% my fault, and I don't think I should have been behaving like that. If this appeal gets accepted, that's amazing. If it doesn't, then that's okay, and I have no hard feelings toward anybody that downvotes this because I did break the rules, and I 100% deserve punitive action because I broke the rules. Again I would sincerely apologize to the person who reported me. Regardless of the outcome of the appeal, I'll ensure this situation or any other situation involving me breaking server guidelines does not happen again. Thank you for taking the time to read this. This is your only ban/warn on our server I also see you have 13 hours of playtime. I don't see why we couldn't give you another shot to make amends. 

 

I'm +1 to changing this ban to a warn however with a note on your profile stating you'll be given the max ban length if you were to MNLR again.

I was the trial mod that took this "sit" if you can call it that. Someone reported him but he logged off right as the report was made. The person who made it was saying that they were explaining what NLR was, and that is what cause you to log off. In the logs, it did show Mass NLR, which in the punishment guidelines, can be a one week ban. However, with lack of screenshots and any kind of other proof to show it was intentional, I would agree with LeGerbs about changing this to a warn, especially if you have a clean record prior. That lies on me for not checking prior warns, so I'm sorry about that.
