I was a CP and killed a guy because I saw him kill someone, but it was in self defense and I didnt know that so I was warned. I didnt know what was going on, who started the shooting but when I came over, I saw shooting. I noticed the gunfire in my general direction and a dead guy and I do not know why, I then kill him as he is a threat. Who warned/banned you? Byonic How long were you warned or banned for? Its was a good bit ago but I just found out that this isnt against the rules so now im appealing it. It kind of seems your your upset that your report got denied, and you're going to try and use this post to prove something. Before I vote on your appeal I'd like to ask do you have any video evidence of what happened? If you have no proof of this being a false warn, and byonic does not comment anything, this will be denied. Regardless, as toosi said, this seems like you are upset that your report was denied and youre trying to prove something with this warn appeal. Ill leave this up for a day or two to see if any information regarding the warn comes out. Seems as I was wrong so I thought I might as well appeal my warn and get it removed, it makes perfect sense. After that long and taking into account that its only one warn and Byonic isnt staff anymore, I do not see why it shouldnt be removed. If im warned for something that isnt against the rules, it makes sense to appeal it so im not sure what you are going on about. My report proved that I was wrong and that its not against the rules, why wouldnt I appeal it? Ive also seen appeals go through when the staff member in question doesnt reply, even if the person making the appeal is guilty. To be completely honest, I don't see this as something to get warned for in the first place. He saw someone kill someone so he shot him and found out later in the sit that it was self defence. That's a situation where the staff member should have been like "okay man next time try to investigate the situation a little more". Especially now-a-days when we're trying to push education over punishment. +1 for warn removal. Yeah you're not wrong but at the same time every situation is different. I'm personally not going to +1 a post where there's no actual evidence and the staff who did it is not here to defend their actions. If he had a video or something proving this is what happened I would agree but at this point its just a claim that's been made, and nothing more. Like you said this is something that would not typically lead to a warn, if what he's saying is what happened. Since a warn was given to me that means there could've been something else that happened that is not mentioned in this appeal. Main reason I was probably given the warn is because Byonic was a tmod at the time the warn was issued.
