Why were you banned or warned?

I got raided by a group of nerds who were more interested in destroying our base we made with explosives than actually raiding it for items. After telling them it was empty and even welcoming them in, they destroyed everything anyways. That sucked, but it's part of the game. Afterwards, I decided to forget about making a base since they nuked it, and instead just wandered around killing the people that raided it. It was RDM and I did break NLR. A decent amount of time passed, during which I was bhopping around the map and being obnoxious in OOC, as you do when you're salty in DarkRP. Apparently, there was a sit request during the time after the events and by the time I logged off and went to do something else.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

A few things to cover. First and foremost, I fully admit to RDMing and breaking NLR. It was petty and detracted from the quality of the server. My bad. With that said, it wasn't a one way street. The party that raided me were continually putting hits on me to have a reason to kill me. Many would argue that's failRP, even with the cooldown present, and was 100% done for instigation purposes.

Though the real problem here is the fact that I "left after sit was claimed and reporter was t'ped" is just patently absurd. I was on the server for a good amount of time after everything transpired and it's not my fault that these people happened to put an admin request a decent amount of time later/ the admins took an abnormally long time to respond to the request/ the admins took an abnormally long time to bring me in/ whatever other situation that would cause an extremely late reaction time to bring me into a sit.

Simply put, if I knew there was an impending sit, I would have waited and done it. I wasn't mass rdming or consistently breaking NLR, it was a small thing that would warrant a warning, if anything, had I known there was a sit in progress.

I just want to add a few things. I only rdmed a few times, and there was a class that could do hits in their group. It wasn't like they were paying a random player to do it.

3 days is quite a bit of time for a one isolated fuckup. I understand that position, but it still doesn't change the fact that I got banned without being able to apologize or at the very least tell them my side of the story. With how much RDM and NLR breaking that happens on a daily basis that people choose not to report, I can't help but feel that 3 days is a bit excessive. Though I'm sure you hear that all the time.

Hey! in fact. this wasnt an impending sit. It was a claimed sit. you left exactly 16 seconds AFTER I brought them to the sit. I know this, since I took the time to check the time difference between me bringing them, and you disconnecting. You knew that there was issues, it had been spoken of in ooc. maybe you didn't know there was a sit, but it should have been pretty clear when they were brought. Second off, one of the first things I did was check hit logs. I saw two hits placed on you. I wouldn't really call that targeting. and thirdly. You straight admitted to breaking the rules. I thank you for your honesty, but come on. Personally, I see zero reason to reduce your ban. -1 from me.
