Attempting to crash the server/Macro execution Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? The macro execution was accidental and I was unable to disable said macro because it takes control of my keyboard and mouse. As a result of the macro the server lagged for approx 10 seconds probably close to crashing. I immediately started to pick up the pickup boxes that were dropped and tried to stop it before any lag happened but that was not the case. Who warned/banned you? Fuel brought me to a sit. Walter the Assaulter banned me. How long were you warned or banned for? Perma In detail the macro held "C" (inventory), double clicked in the top right corner of my inventory, and also dragged slightly to the right to maximize the efficiency of dropping the item in said slot. The macro was never intended for creating any form of lag but for dropping materials into a crafting table. I was immediately informed after I explained my perma to my friends that you can convert the items into a shipment and drop them in like that. I was unable to stop the macro because Razer Synapse doesn't allow me turn off the bind until the full macro is done. The macro itself goes for around a minute and a half. The macro was bound to "Num *", which I have bound to my mouse's side button. I had read through the MOTD prior to my ban but I was unaware that macro use was also a bannable offense, and I know that is the excuse that everyone says but I genuinely had never seen the rule. I never used macros other than for dropping materials into a crafting table just so I didn't have to double click and drag my mouse for like 2 minutes. I never intended for any form of crash or lag upon the server. I had no reason to attempt to actually crash the server. It's not even like something that if someone else did I would laugh at because it just ruins everyone else's experience. Over the past month I have played a lot on the server and when the server crashed on the day the new printers had come out because of a printer/pickup box error I was overall just disappointed. This is me trying to throw a pity party but to explain that I would have no real intention to crash the server. The day of, I had been basing and had a lot of printers and procs and that would've been even more disappointing, but I am getting off topic at this point. On the condition that I ever am to touch the face of the server again, I will not execute any form of macro in any form. The ignorance and just overall stupidity of my ban is ridiculous. I am not saying the reason of me being banned is stupid but what I did to get banned. I hope to be able to see the server again. I have 14 prior warns which The last warn I received was months ago I believe. As I said in the appeal once the macro is enable I am unable to turn it off until the macro is complete(the timespan of the macro). The logs also show I attempted to pick the boxes as fast as I possibly could. Your gametracker shows you were a community member since 2019 yet you didn't know that was a rule despite it being there for the entirety of your stay? I've been here maybe like a month longer than you, it's long enough to read the rules if you try. You also have been more active than chesmond, a person whom you on another note hang around often, yet he knew about the rule and you didn't? Like, I don't know what to say here. You even admitted to me that you designed this script to fastly dispense mats which I can believe, but you broke many rules here. Hey man, I don't honestly thing your intentions were driven by malice but that's irrelevant. You executed an external program/macro that manipulated your client, and as such violated our server rules. Don't take being banned to heart. You have a life that extends past garry's mod and i doubt your life is boring without it. What are you doing the rest of the day, then? surely you have another game to play.
