Why should you be unwarned? : Before I start doing the ol' rambling about why I should be unbanned, I want to get one thing straight, though I get the reasoning of the mod who warned me, and I completely get his side of the story, I still believe that what I did was not rdm, anyways, here is what happened, I will try my best to re-create what happened: I was leaving my base from the sewers to get into the main area of the server (The one near PD), but I found a prop was blocking the entrance/exit, and since it was the main area I always entrance/leave from, I blowtorch the prop, to find a house was made in that area. The house's back prop was no collided, and so was the door, but after walking outside to its "porch" for a moment to check out how the house was made and its how it was built, as it looked like a really nice build, I go back inside of the house, I then talk to Cobaselic McStubbins, kindly reasoning with him to please remove the prop he was using to block the sewer entrance, as I now know the back of the house was no collided, he decided that instead of trying to reason with each other like normal, he instead broke the literal first rule in the motd, calling me names, and said to quote "go fuck off" me then realizing the raid was still on, I did the classic one-liner of: "I will just come back in 20 minutes" as a lot of people do, and then shortly after, I killed him. He then instantly brought me into a sit, still calling me names, as I tried to reason how what I did was highly likely not rdm, as I never stopped the raid (He was saying that me leaving the base for a moment meant that I stopped the raid, saying that I came back just to talk shit to him), he then warns me, and says I can just go cry to the forums about it. I don't want him demoted, nor do I want him to be punished in anyway, I just believe that what I did was not rdm, and I don't want the warn to be on my record.

So what happened was, I had a prop blocking the sewer entrance because I'm a hobo and was basing in that area. You come, blowtorch the prop, and then proceed to try to blowtorch the back wall of my base before I no-collide it to let you through. You leave the base, and then come back in to start telling me to delete the prop. I tell you that I don't have to, because there are multiple entrances to the sewers. You tell me you're gonna blowtorch it again, I say you have already blowtorched it and left so that would be breaking the raid timer. You then say "I'll do it in 20 minutes". You continue to argue that I need to delete the prop, I say no, you shoot me. I get you to the sit, you say "I was still raiding", when you had already left the base and only returned to talk shit. What you did was RDM because you were mad that I didn't remove the prop when you told me to. Therefore, you were warned for RDM.

 

 

 

Here is the screenshot. You put the blowtorch away and leave. You return legit seconds later and start telling me I need to remove the prop. I say no, you say remove it if it's no collided because you won't have to blowtorch it in. I say it's no-collided so that I can finish building it, and that it would be re no-collided, and that if you blowtorch it again you will be breaking the cooldown of your raid. You then say "I will do in 20 minutes", confirming that you HAD IN FACT finished your raid. Once you killed me, your story switched to "oh I was still raiding", even though you had already left the base, only to return and kill me because I wouldn't remove a prop that inconvenienced you. -1

and to say that I said "go cry to the forums about it" is a complete LIE. I told you that you could make a forums report, and that I would be waiting to respond. This entire appeal is full of fallacy, you LEFT the base, you said here that you stood on the porch, you said in game that you walked meters away, in reality to legit walked down the street and then returned.

 

I am sorry about the "go cry to the forums about it" that was just what I remembered, I must've jumbled it inside of my head, although I did not walk across the street, I went to the sidewalk of the house, jumped up using my mastersword, then came back inside. Though I do not know how much you need to walk away from a base to make the raid over, I didn't move far away at all.

 

Also when it is no colided, I can't open up the gate, as it forces me to interact with the prop, not the actual door.

If you did leave the base and walked a ways away, the raid is over. You should have done what you said and return in 20 mins. As for name calling their hasn't been proof on either side of that. I would just take the warn and learn from it. -1 for warn removal.
