Why are you reporting said player?: I am reporting said player because Florhn, a staff member, raids for 4 minutes without talking about NLR and then bans within 10 seconds of sit. Also, he bans us for breaking NLR even though we were allowed to break NLR, as we were apart of Kingdom with laws specifically stating we could break the law.

This happened at around 4:00pm EST. You guys have staff members and users on the server right now who can confirm all of this happened through scrolling to said time. Also, because this is a server you guys should have console logs within server files to confirm my screenshots/console logs are accurate without edits.

 

Before you read anything else, take note I was ENCOURAGING someone to raid me. I had tons of shit, but nothing worth protecting. I am not writing this because of getting raided. I am writing this because I, and another user, have been wrongly punishmened by a staff member.

 

Thesis/Argument:

 

 

Take note of how he quickly typed ban commands after teleporting us to a sit. He didn't give us more than 10 seconds, nor did he refer us to any form of "motd/rules" to LEARN from our mistakes. No, he put a quick and thoughtless SEVEN DAY ban for FIRST MISTAKE EVER on Titsrp.

I was the king, and as the king I specifically removed NLR in my kingdom. I was demoted at the end of his raid. At which, he asked us to check !kinglaws after I was demoted. Of course NLR doesn't apply at that point.

^Florhn was Walter White, so something along the lines of a Hitman. I didn't have the time to check his role, as he banned us within seconds of the sit. -- Also, Nehev was the new King.

 

In my opinion a proper staff member should stop what they're doing in-game and bring us to a sit when they notice we are breaking rules. But instead Florhn continues raiding(As you can see by kill logs) and only stops raiding once he realizes we don't have a level 22 printer, and then gives us both a 7-day ban within any 'warnings' or even trying to help us understand the rules better because he puts a printer above his role as a staff member.

 

 

 

 

Fun Facts:

• I had been playing peacefull on Titsrp without ANY SORT sort of report for about 8 hours straight(eg I'm not an abusive player who is going to go and break more rules)
   
  
• Florhn suicides within 2 seconds of me sending the message about the level 22 printer(With this response time, I'd think he'd have brought us to a sit with the same speed! But no, he allowed a whopping 8 kills to go through and finishing the entire raid, realizing I have no level 22 printer and then taking us to a sit)
   
   
  
• If florhn didn't ban me, my printers would stay. Thus interestingly I think it's possible he wouldn't have banned us if he found I had a level 22 printer(eg can be determined because he continued the raid INSTEAD OF mentioning NLR).
  

 

 

 

Resolution:

I would love to either get unbanned or have this staff member either get a talking to or* demoted(I'd prefer the 'talking-to' option before a demotion. But either way, I find his current* behavior unsuitable for a staff member, and he'll probably 7-day ban a bunch of other people who also 'didn't-get-a-chance').

^I'm pretty confident requesting an unban requires a different threat section, so I'll leave my request out. For now, I'm reporting a staff member for Very-UnStaff-Like-Behavior. 

 

 

I feel this was written very randomly/poorly ;-; -- I will rewrite it or respond more-indepth based on comments, if any.

 

 

Lastly, I would've given arguments such as "Everyone else always breaks NLR, so why are you giving us worse punishments than those who frequently break other rules and only get 2 minute bans", but he's right, I should just call staff when someone breaks NLR instead of killing the NLR breaker each time. But, I also believe he's wrong, because he should just call staff too, instead of continuing the raid. But oh wait, he is staff and he prefers raiding over enforcing rules until after he raids.

^Okay this is my biased side taking over, which is a horrible way to argue, but I hope you readers can understand the unjustification and hypocrisy I feel ^^

It's stated in the MOTD that the king cannot override certain rules, including NLR. If this truly was your first issue like this then I think florhn should have considered the alternatives to banning, but he was in the right with the ban reasoning itself. I'll let him know about this to give his side.

You make some fine points here about how staff should handle sits, and being this is your first punishment ever on our server that is definitely something the staff should have considered. This seems a little personal since you interfered with his raid, I will talk to him about this. Maybe another staff should have handled this sit for him. All that aside, as Herb said above, you cannot make king laws that override the server rules. You SHOULD know this if you have been playing for 8 hours straight but that's not the big deal here. I will talk to the banning staff about reducing this ban or lifting it completely.

Seeing that you understand what you did wrong was wrong, I'll give you another chance. Next time you should probably read the MOTD and make sure what you are doing is right or wrong. I agree, the length I banned you for was uncalled for and very harsh. I am sorry for my behavior.
