Rubik: gave him 3 adverted warns to give a bank location  after multiple minutes. after this time i start a vote demotion and once he was demoted he immediately responds with reason as to why i soon tell him and as i do he sets himself back to the bank manager role. he is clearly using his moderator permissions to prevent RP. also TP'd me to him without asking although i dont care about that.

Doot: using noclip for no reason, i see him no clip across the map and i see no sits are taken so i spectate him and see he is using no clip for no sit reason at all and for his own plpleasurable use.

Note: people can say the adverted warns were rushed but there was atleast a minute or 2 between each one. the logs i have posted look rushed because i simply searched my name

Dude you used a vote demote command on another staff member WHILE staff were online. You didn't call a sit or anything. I wasn't AFK, I was building and if you used your STAFF abilities you would have seen that. I was active and moving around (building).

 You know you cannot demote someone with staff online, and you did it without even TPing to me or calling a sit. If anything that is Staff abuse.

 

Also, I asked for Ghost to speak with me about this and he totally ignored me, even after I apologized for snapping at him.

I did add myself back to the job but as I can show in logs I waited cooldown time to make sure no one else took the job, which they did not.

I felt my actions were justified because the demote was FALSE and a blatant disregard of procedure that all staff follow - to call sits before taking any action.

I'm being serious. I thought that the demote command is for PLAYERS to demote abusive people when there is no staff online. All mods are capable of spectating, TPing players for sits, and setting player roles and jobs. If ANY of those staff tools were used in this situation all of this could have been avoided. Adverting a person while they're focused on building and staff is online and active is not the best way to handle this situation in my opinion. 

 

I just don't understand why Ghost couldn't have spec'd me to see I was building, or TPed me to check for activity. I was not afk, I was focused on building. I could understand if this was a player demoting me and no staff online. I just don't think this was handled properly.

No demotes are used for when a player isn't doing their job. Like an RP reason only though. And can be used while staff are online.

Okay so I read over the MOTD and it appears the same rules for the vote kick/ban do not apply to demote, which is totally my mistake. In fact, all mention of the vote kick/ban in MOTD are completely removed. 

 

I figured "vote anything" is not permitted when staff is online. I do understand now that what he did was right, and that's what i said to him in private already before this report. 

 

I still question why he did not bring me for a sit or TP to me, or even spectate me to see that I was busy building but that's okay. My bad.
