Whitefox Posted November 29, 2017 Share Posted November 29, 2017 For those of you who saw my previous appeal, I deleted it because I came off like I was trying to lie my way to getting unbanned, I was forgetting things which needed to be addressed so here I'm addressing everything from the beginning. I want to come clean and be allowed back into the TitsRP community like any other member and not try to lie which it seemed like i was doing. (All this apart from the fact that it didn't correctly represent my view on things.) Cullen Evidence: Reasons i was banned for: Giving out Haley's private skype in anon chat.exposing player's IP address.DDoS threats towards Haley.Threatening players on discord after being banned. Now I will address each point and why i think it can be forgiven/it isn't true in the first place. But first, let me give some context about all of this: 03/02/2017: So, it's just another normal afternoon on TitsRP, I'm in a skype call with two people i recently got to know which are Tingle and Haley, we were all having fun until Tingle and Haley jokingly started posting each other's skype in chat and it was all fun, i tried to join in on the joke and posted a message through anon chat which was quite an extreme form of "black humor" i guess you would call it? anyways the point is it didn't go along as a joke and she contacted staff to know who posted it, i get TPed to the sit and get permanently banned for the reasons stated above. Later that day, I decided to post an appeal which was a pretty bad idea considering I was pretty tired because I had stayed up more than usual and was pretty tired. needless to say, it went horribly wrong which caused me to get even madder and I jokingly threatened staff on discord (i will go into more detail on this when I actually get to the point.). Now I will address each point individually and talk about why it can be forgiven / it wasn't a real reason in the first place: Giving out Haley's private skype in anon chat. (https://prnt.sc/ehafnv) Now as said in the context Haley and Tingle were putting each other's skype in OOC chat for everyone to contemplate. hence it is no longer private, it has been made public to the whole server, which completely discards this point of me "Doxxing" Haley. I'm pretty sure what Cullen means by this is earlier i was messing around with some friends where I found a website that basically makes a redirect link to whatever you want but it tracks the IP of whoever clicks on it, this was all under friends and in PM's, i made none of this information public, it was just me goofing around with friends. Proof: Since this was just me goofing around i don't really have anything to show since it wasn't important enough for me to take screenshots. DDoS threats towards Haley. (https://prnt.sc/ehafnv) Now this is where i just have to ask you to forgive me because it really was an extreme of "black humor" and you should never take jokes this far on the server, i never meant real harm to the server or its users, as explained in the context I was trying to participate in a joke but it went horribly wrong. From what I can remember i wanted to say something along the lines of (Making it extreme since tone and the way you say it is hard to translate to text) "Uhh boi better watch out or im gonna getcha IP" in some sort of mocking way, but that backfired horribly as well. I hope this better represents my view on why i think i should be unbanned/forgiven than my last post which i threw together in 5 minutes and thought i could keep up replying to people. samma Posted November 29, 2017 Share Posted November 29, 2017 I'm very confused as to why you made a second appeal, you're restating the same information you replied to people with. I have never, EVER, seen any person make a DDoS threat (including as a dumb joke) and not get a permanent ban. Here is a direct quote from the moderation guidelines. Attempting to lag or crash the server. (Crashing Server) This will be a permanent ban about 90% of the time. Even threatening it can lead to a permanent ban. Causing lag in game and DDoSing fall under this. Not only did you literally admit to that here WITH EVIDENCE but you also admitted to IP logging, and saying "I did not expose the IPs of the players" does not help, because you still HAVE the IPs. It never seemed like you were lying in your previous appeal, it just seemed like you felt that you were banned for things you thought were not against the rules. You have to read those things carefully, however, because that kind of "humor" is not tolerated here. A second appeal was entirely unnecessary to your case. You actually made it clearer to me that you were DDoS threatening and IP logging than you had before. Huge -1 for unban. I would also like to remind you all of this happened at the beginning of March this year, so it has been over half a year and soon an entire year which i think is reasonable for these reasons and I've definitely learned my lesson from this.
