nizzle Posted November 12, 2017 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Your Steam Name: DDG =gang= Your ingame name: cocaine33 Your Steam Profile/SteamID: Why were you banned?: I was banned when I came back to my base(shared base with someone else) and there were people stood inside the base in freinds area so i went into mine then the mod came into my area ( didnt know this was a sit or that these were admins) so i killed him, i was then tp'd to my friend into the sit where i was jailed and warned for rdm in a sit (when he wasnt even killed in the sit, he followed me into another room) then when i got angry about this they start saying that now i am "fail basing" because my friend had 3 fading doors and i have one which i didnt realise would be against the rules and even if that was they werent my props or i didnt help build this so its nothing to do with me, so i was warned for fail base at this point i am still jailed and i have been warned then i start to say unjail me and let me go because the sit was over and i was already unhappy about how the situation had been dealt with and then i am banned for not complying and not listening in the sit.. Why should you be unbanned?: i think i should be unbanned because fair enough give the warns if i broke the rules unknowingly but when they are dealing with sits in this manner i think its un acceptable and its not like i was being malicious on the server trying to cause damage or ruin other peoples time here. also before this i was genuinely enjoying the server..i play on the server most days and have 30+hours and think its unfair that i cant play on it now because i am banned for 4 days when i broke 2 rules un knowingly.. ������ ����� Posted November 12, 2017 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Well first off, commenting on the mods age is pretty silly, even if they happened to be 13/14 that makes no real diffrence. Besides, I know that half of our staff is 16 or older but that's basically irrelevant. So far from the story, which is a little confusing, but if you were warned about a base that was not your's then that is for sure a problem.If you did kill a staff in a sit, that is considered RDM in a sit and depending on the staff member, can be a warn or a ban. And on the other part, if the sit was over and you were unjailed and let go, saying "let me go" basically as your being let go, isnt really "failure to comply" but then again some of the story is a little confusing. Overall I think we need to wait on the banning/warning staff for a response because as of now this is looking a bit like the mod/Tmod was acting a little harsh and irrational. nizzle Posted November 12, 2017 Author Share Posted November 12, 2017 yeah i was warned for the fail base when the props werent mine nor any of the front door security props were mine and i was warned for that but the rdm in sit happened before this and was also warned for that too.. it was after this when the sit was finshed and none of them were speaking or doing anything and they werent letting me go so i became annoyed and then thats not complying/not listening but yet the sit had been finished, also i have removed my comment about the staffs age as i agree it is irrelevant and i apolagize for including that. If you choose to base with someone you must be in 100% agknowledgement of who's building what. Upon entering the building you can see a typical 3 fading door setup, upon crouching into the secret space you see another fading door, making it 4. When we were telling you that this isnt allowed and you're supposed to be aware of what you and your basing friend is supposed to be doing. you proceded to become very rude and hostile after we jailed you because you killed someone during the sit. I can Reduce the ban as looking back on it now 4 days is excessive, however your behavior was extremely unwarranted. You also did not list your STEAMID. Ban REDUCED to 12 Hours. // Reason: Disrespect still stands even for the Appeal, You were warned for RDM in a Sit and your other offences added onto it would be more adding punishments in a row, You're still responsible for the actions of your basing partner. Right, i did not once disrespect you or any of the staff and i would like you to check logs/chat logs to make sure because i did not use any names/derogatary terms when speaking with you, i became rude because i was jailed and warned before you even asked for an explanation.. I didnt know it was a sit, non of you were on duty and no one was jailed and then one of you tried coming into my area so i kos'd you. You say that i should check when im basing but to be honest it is not my duty or problem to check my friends base, it was his props and his base in the first place so i have no control over what he builds... then after you also warned me for fail base you kept me jailed even when the sit had finished which then i may have become hostile but i had every right to as you werent dealing with the situation appropriately or proffesionally and even if you did jail me for the kill it wasnt during the sit because he was running around the base meaning he wasn't "inputting" to the sit... I see what i have done wrong here and i will admit that but i dont think it is fair that i was banned. if it is possible i'd like to be unbanned... Thanks for shortening ban, but even the staff before said i cant be held accountable for his actions and still 12 hours ban is un-needed.. what would be the reasons for this ban?...
