It was about 1 pm est and we were basing in the underground area, We saw a sign that said "Public Mining Area" owned by Piklas so i called a trial mod (I dont remember the name i know its useful but wait) to have him message piklas to remove it, and he did. So me and my friends placed our dupe and let it sit for about 3 hours. I leave to sell rock and i come back to piklas deleting our entire base. I question him and he says i own the doors here therefore its mine (in short) I asked to let us take our stuff and leave (which he denied, freezing me shortly after) and continuously asked me who told us we could base here. I explained about the incident where the trial had him remove the sign and he goes "Funny, i never had any sign removed" followed by banning me for FailBase, Lying. I dont know if he doesent remember or using the fact i dont remember the trial mods name to get me banned. Id look for his name but i cant find it in my logs or a staff list somewhere in the fourms. It sucks im left with you guys taking my word for it but if i could find a full chat log id give a screenshot. Why should you be unbanned?:I feel i should be unbanned as he seemed a little salty that i was complaining that he shouldnt of done what he did so bluntly (More socially said) and Im sure he banned me to stop me from getting my printer/processer and he was greedy so he used the fact i didnt know as a way to get me off for lying. You hear this alot but i really enjoy the server and if i didnt care about it i wouldnt be here trying to appeal, we all know that. I feel i should have a day ban because of a lie? I dunno. I honestly think he knew what happened about removing the sign and used that i forgot as a way to get away from it. Wouldnt be the first time i see something like this happen. Evidence: If someone tells me a way to get a full chatlog ill happily post it showing he talked to piklas to remove the textscreen.. I was never tped by a tmod to give away the base 3. you cannot base somewhere with the permission from someone random, I owned the base and you tell me a tmod just says you can base there, fishy (to add to it no one in your party remembers a name) 4. i ask in admin chat if anyone gave permission for you guys to base and no one said they had, nor did they know if i had been tped while afk. These are the factors why I banned you. If the tmod who supposedly gave permission to this base can post on the thread i can remove the ban but ask the question of why this was handled so poorly (no doors were unowned and I never personally removed my sign). The door part the 2 people i partied with are new to darkrp (They both have under 100 hours) So im guessing they didnt realized you owned the door and said nothing to me. I had my printer by the fading door so i had no need to go up there and generally look, My bad there. I guess ill just either let someone decide or a miracle if the tmod posts here. Sorry for the incident. And EDIT by the way you did have a sign there you confirm this yes? When you deleted our base your sign wasnt there so it was indeed deleted one way or another. The sign might have been there but i might have also removed it myself when remover tolling the base, ATM im trying to get a hold of the tmods i know about to check out the report thread if they recognize it. First off Piklas was AFK while having an area labeled as "public property" (if that was a normal user i would have removed the sign and unowned the doors for the player that wants to base there). Secondly why in the heck was it handled like this? (assuming kso is telling the truth) Piklas you literally just deleted his props because he was basing in your "public property"? I think this whole thing was handled piss poorly. However the ban is about to be lifted so i guess this is resolved.
