Reasons why you are reporting: so, to start it off, last night i had just finished and banned a player for mass rdm and was walking to my base when i see CX Fazememe walking away from my base with my golden printer that he had just raided. i promptly shoot him but unfortunately my printer was destroyed. I continued on and ran into someone requesting a sit on another player for mass rdm. while i was in the middle of the sit, im suddenly brought away from the sit by Mark for a sit of his own that was requested by fazememe, unofficially as far as i know (because i never saw a sit request for me by him). I was baffled by the fact that someone who was a full mod that thought it was okay to bring someone or tp to another staff member. I quickly explained why i killed him and that it wasnt rdm and also informed him that he is not to bring staff without asking first, because this is a rule about both respecting other's privacy, and the fact that staff member might be in the middle of a sit, which i was. He continued to go on and on about how "because im a mod, i can bring a tmod all i want" which i explain, no, thats not the case, its in the admin guidelines. this back and forth continues for a good 15-20 minutes with them continually saying he could do what he wants, and "why did you rdm" which i explained multiple times in a rather cut and dry case. eventually piixel shows up and even while piixel explains to him that he is indeed wrong, he STILL continues to argue with him about it. He blatantly has zero respect for other staff members or the rules themselves and i personally recommend demotion or his retraining as a trial mod because its quite obvious he does not know what he's doing.

DO NOT teleport or bring other staff without messaging them first. This goes along with respecting their privacy. Message them in admin chat or steam first

Just to point out, it could've actually been solved with PM or admin chat. 

 

Protips:

 

• Staff guidelines were written for a reason by people who have more experience than most of our server's moderators. Follow the guidelines and your staffing experience will be smoother and less stressful.
  
• Some sits can be resolved by asking for a simple explanation in chat instead of having to drag everyone together, interrupt other sits, interrupt RP, etc. Against staff members, most of the time the sit is called by someone who doesn't realize that it wasn't RDM and simply asking why they killed someone will get a satisfactory answer.
  
• Communication is key both to proper staffing and to having an efficient staff TEAM.
  

I don't know what should happen here, or if anything should happen, but this should not have happened.

true story. if he had simply asked "hey why'd you kill faze?" i'd have simply told him and it'd been done. it wasnt even a situation of him not knowing i was staff, or even being apologetic. he didnt CARE.

 

this part was missed in the recording but when i actually called for piixel mark's response was "LOL"

You can teleport a lower rank without permission. However, it is better and more professional to Ask them if they are available and/or spectate them to find out what they are doing first, especially regarding staff, as they may be busy.

 

The issue as far as I can tell so far lies more on the fact that it was not an actual report and thus does not warrant any actions against the person. If you are answering calls for help from people who are not calling staff properly using the designated system for reports, then it is not a valid report and is to be ignored.

 

And that's not even to mention that single RDM is not a valid report in the first place and should be ignored unless there is nothing more important happening. so unless it was 4 in the morning and the only sit, I don't see any reason this would be investigated other than they are friends or allies or whatever.

 

As for the general behavior of the Mod in question, I will watch the video and look into it before making my vote and if it provokes further response then I will continue the lecture below.

Those guidelines are there for a reason. 

 

 

Im not sure if this warrants a 100% demote. However, a punishment should definitely be administered.

You can't bring any staff without permission, regardless of your rank. Even if your headadmin, you abide by the rules.

 

This doesn't count as a demotion, no where near that; But it does go for a retrain, or a punishment based on the admins desire.

First of all, I did ask you why you killed fazememe. Anyways so its a late boring night and I see one of my friends report for rdm, not knowing its staff I tp them. It got resolved but Neeks decided to complain and make the situation worse. Tunnel Snake Piixel gets dragged into the situation. Neeks also said during the sit that he was mid sit, but according to the forums it says the following.

Those pictures just showed that he lied and said he was in the middle of a sit just so hopefully Piixel would do something during that time of say since he was on the server.

 

I dont understand why I am being punished for something that MANY staff members do TO ME. 

Peanut Butter teleport me all the time when not asking when I once was trial mod.

 

I did not hand out any warns or even say you getting a verbal, I totally understood the situation and Neeks could have returned if he/she really had a sit going on at that time. I would like to talk to Dindu and Neeks personally about this situation at some point before any type of punishment is brought against me.

Why should I ask another staff member if I can bring them if they are RDMING, thats almost like saying that if Piixel is mass rdming that Id have to pm him if i can bring him to a sit, He can just easily say no.

These 2 situations are unrelated. 

 

If you have a sit regarding a staff member, you ask them in @ chat if they can come. It's very easy. If they are "mass rdming" that's a whole other situation which would call for different actions. 

 

You must wait until they are able, don't force tp them. 

 

I understand if you didn't know they were tmod, but the appropriate action would be to APOLOGISE. Not argue and say you are allowed to because they are just Tmod.
