But he said lying in a sit which wasn't intentional? Why should you be unbanned?: I've been playing this server for roughly a year. I logged on got demo specialist started running to PD check Inventory for a gun and a Preacher ran into my face "Did the swing animation" but didn't do damage i reacted I did kill him. "At the time i thought he did attack me" I went to PD got armor and health then I was pulled the admin said "why'd you RDM" I told him he attacked me he said in the damage logs shows nothing so you're now lying in a sit so I'm going to ban you. And here we are with a 12 hr ban. This is very extreme and the admin was very rude I really wish I had shadowplay running because this was a clear abuse of his power and he knew it. Not once have i seen this mod before and I'd like him looked into. Please unban I shouldn't be 12 hr ban for a simple mistake maybe a kick or warn. "I wasn't even online for 5 minutes when this all happened and I did apologize for the *Lying* in a sit as that wasn't my intention" Evidence: Really wish I had my shadowplay working. The preacher swinging at you with his book does not do any damage, ever. It only ever helps you by curing ebola. Looks like a misunderstanding to me. He was assuming I was lying in the sit intentionally and he also mention'd "I've had you lie to me before!" I have never interacted with him before either. Very stressful to me. Did you advert any warnings? You have to advert warnings (/advert warn 1/2/3 etc) now to be able to kill people for things that don't damage you but still affect you, unless you're a CP and the given action breaks a law. As for the behaviour of the mod. If they respond I would like some answers from them as well. Such as why was this a ban instead of a warn? were there signs of aggression or disrespect in the sit? Did tthe suspect have several previous or any active warns for RDM? Why 12 hours? It doesn't make much sense to me. I mean, personally I wouldn't kill Jesus, but self defense is definitely allowed, and I think the bible does do Armor damage and even if not shows you getting hit so I see how he could mistake it for an attack. I think you should have been warned before being banned so fast. The mod may not have realised the procedure on this, seeing as it's such a short ban I'm willing to bet it's either a tmod or a newer mod. It doesn't make much sense to me. +1 FOR UNBAN The thing was I reacted he swung at me "From my perspective he was intending to hurt me" So I just reacted and killed him. Noted that next time I should be more have a bit more caution in these kind of situations but I was typing in the sit up until he said "You're going to be banned for lying in a sit" When it wasn't my intention to lie to him and I did apologize to him and he said "Well you've lied to me plenty of times before" I told him I never spoke to him before and then he responded saying "Well this is one heck of a first impression" then instantly banned me.
