I was banned unfairly, and without a proper sit.

Why were you banned?: mass rdm, killing staff members in a sit

Why should you be unbanned?: because it is a misunderstanding that could have been avoided if Golden Pup would have done a sit with me, they were all sitting in the street, so as the hazmat I went up, scanned them all, and proceeded to kill the ones who were infected. I was jailed on the spot, Golden tp'd to me and when I start to explain what I was doing he bans me, no sit or anything.  One person out of 4 was not infected, and they were in the street, how was I supposed to know it was a sit? nobody was noclipping either, it just appeared to be 4 people standing around.

Evidence: I could take a screenshot of the ban, I didn't plan to be banned for playing the game and not having a sit when it was a misunderstanding, so I dont have anything except for the ban.

I dont see why, you would want to kill the infected when you can make 3k per person you cure.

I tried to cure a few people before them, a couple took it and a couple killed me after I offered it, so I didn't want to risk it

Having a sit is like reading someone their Miranda rights. If you're a cop and you see someone snatch a purse, then you arrest them without reading them their rights, they are completely scott free of their crime. If you catch someone "Mass RDM", you need to have a sit otherwise there is a good chance the ban will be overturned. What you did was wrong due to the change in the rules, however there was no need to add "In a sit", as it may have been a sit, but there was no indication whatsoever, there is a reason ALL staff have access to no-clip, please use it. I am definitely a +1 For Unban, he didn't know what he did was wrong, and I understand that "Ignorance is not an excuse", but it is a relatively new rule. Golden Pup also needs a quick conversation about how to begin a sit, and how to deal with distractions in a sit.

On mass RDM cases I usually Jail them and go ask them "What are you doing?" On this case I can't confirm or deny I did since there have been so many mass RDM bans I've done. On this case, I might've just jumped the gun, in which case I'm willing to unban.

 

EDIT: Even if it's true i forgot to do a sit on this situation, if a sit would be done I would've still banned you for mass RDM

Yeah, you jailed me and then I was talking to the people there, you then teleported and I start to speak to you, I start saying "They were infected so I" and I get banned before I could finish the sentence. You didn't ask me what happened or even explain to me what I was doing wrong, I figured out everything I know now from the ban message, you even said yourself you did not do a sit with me. Like the server's admin popup says "90% of all rdm cases are misunderstandings, talk to the person before calling staff" The same applies for a staff member. Talk to people first Golden, and situations like this could simply be avoided, just by having a minimum 10 second talk with me, this would have never been an issue, because it was a misunderstanding.

But I had to come to the forums to learn why I was banned for mass rdm? I mean, if someone does something on accident like this, 2 people dying and 1 injured, and I am banned for mass without learning about the situation myself. You just banned me, and yeah I understand I was not able to kill them for ebola, but if you had listened to a situation at hand, would you still ban me for 7 days over a misunderstanding? and like I said before, your own popup says that most rdm's are misunderstandings, and whether or not it was rdm either way isnt what my point is here, my point is you banned me without even speaking to me, and the fact of the matter is this, we all came to the conclusion that it was rdm either way on the forums, not in the actual sit, because there wasn't one. That  is like giving someone a ban for a week because they killed 4 people in a base, but you learn on the forums that they called raid, but, they were on their cooldown, and you did not have a sit with the,. Is it appropriate to have sits on the forums? because that is what I feel like just happened. you banned me and learned about why i was killing them after. whether you would ban me either way is irrelevant, because you banned me, not knowing if it was 100% rdm or not, and then learn on the forums that "regardless of what you could've said it was mass RDM." no, because at the time you did not have that knwoledge, and you banned me without a sit, meaning you banned me without knowing the whole story, meaning it was a false ban, especially since you had to get your knowledge to ensure that I did rdm from the forums. I just dont find it fair that staff member can ban someone without a sit and say it was a legit ban because they figure out the person actually did something wrong on the forums instead of talking to the person in game.

Alright, so we ban people for 1 week for mass rdm when they are just doing it for the lols. Considering your dedication with this thread, I'm going to assume that it was a true accident.

 

You will be unbanned, but any future case of mass rdm will not receive the same verdict.
