Why should you be unbanned?:Cause I was killing and Arresting people with a real reason I really liked this server. Mr. Peanut Butter Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Let me just say, that unless the kidnappers are aggressive towards YOU, especially as a CP, you really don't have the right to kill them. Yes, it's a fast-paced world of action we have as CPs, but at least take some time to think what you're doing. You aren't Civil Protection so that you have a license to kill, you are Civil Protection to Protect Civility. Be CIVIL first. First, warn them of their actions and try to get them to stop. If they run, with or without kidnapping, Try to tase them with the Nonlethal Pistol. The more crime someone commits, the more likely it is to work. Stunning them will slow them down significantly where you can try to cuff them, and / or arrest them. If at any point, they become aggressive and attack you, preferably with a lethal weapon, or if at any point they put anyone else in life-threatening danger, THEN and ONLY THEN you are TRULY justified in killing them. Let's go out of context for a second. I see people do this a lot and I don't think it's the most bannable offense, especially when no one complains or says anything about it. But clearly today someone did complain, and it's something that I need to start explaining to other CPs whereas I would normally ignore it in favor of finding something new to do since the situation ended already. Take a moment and think about what things were probably like from their perspective. You aren't really giving them any chance to roleplay, and by instantly gunning them down, you aren't really roleplaying either. Put some more effort in and you should do fine. I believe in you.
