Rubik
This changelog addresses criticism of the previous changelog on June 6th in that it did not address the root issues that makes raiding/basing unbalanced. The decision to reduce the maximum number of people you may base with is a result of a poll held on Discord. June 16th Changelog You may base with a maximum of 12 players (the party limit) and all persons must be on the front door(s). This includes players inside and outside of the base. --> You may base with a maximum of 6 players and you must be on the front door to defend the base from a raid. 2 1
Rubik
July 10th Changelog This changelog addresses basing rules, mega bases, public bases, and building on the streets / sidewalks. Please review the entire basing rules page because the format was completely updated with some small changes added and redundant rules removed in the process. Significant changes: [Mega Basing Rules] Mega-bases are prohibited in the following districts: district 1, district 3, district 5, and district 8 (includes the ‘Chill Zone’ but not the outer-most Island). [Public Basing Rules] If your public base is in District 1, it must have a function (restaurant, cafe, hospital, theater, etc) and not just be for aesthetics. [Base Building Rules] Do not use rapidly flashing color or strobe lights which may trigger players with epilepsy. [Base Building Rules] Do not build on the street or sidewalk in a way that limits or restricts the movement of vehicles or players, or in high-traffic areas (such as near PD)
Rubik
July 28th Changelog Simple rule changes regarding the investment bank to improve wording / clarity. Bank Manager CANNOT base with Bank Heisters --> Bank Manager and Bank Guards may not base with heisters or assist with raiding the bank You may not counter Bank Heists if you are not a cop/bank guard/manager or in the Bank when the Raid begins, Insurance exists to protect your money --> You may counter bank heists if you are: a cop, a bank guard, a bank manager, or are inside the bank with the raid begins
Rubik
August 13th Changelog Changed Basing Rules: You may kill someone for trespassing in your base after 5 seconds unless it's a public base, then you must warn them to leave first. --> You may kill someone for trespassing in your base unless it's a public base, then you must warn them to leave first. Rubik
August 19th Changelog Updated: Basing Rules You must be on the front door(s) of the base and inside of the base before a raid starts to defend it, otherwise you must counter. --> You must be on the front door(s) of the base before a raid starts to defend it. This change is due to the existing rule being confusing for both players and staff. It implies that you must be inside of the base to defend against a raid. Because there are no specific rules or guidelines for defending a raid on your base from inside vs the outside, I'm removing the redundant part.
F___
October 15th Changelog Updated Thief/Raiding Rules Rearranged Raiding Rules Add: Raid District rules from forums to rules page with some modifications to the writing: During a raid you may go anywhere in the district to defend your raid. However, you may not kill anyone in the district that isn't involved in the raid. Raid counters/takeovers are not allowed so someone just existing in the district should not be default KOS to you unless they are on the doors or interfering with the raid in some way. Once you leave the district you end the raid/raid defence. If you die while defending the base you may not return to the base until the raid is over. Returning to the other side of the district is fine if you are not spectating or interfering with the raid. When raiding any base in sewers, when you enter the ring that surrounds the sewers this counts as leaving the district. Use common sense when raiding for how far is too far from the base when raiding. Only exception is when chasing down an external defender. Kingdom is its own district, leaving Kingdom during a raid will end the raid. Raid District rules do not apply for PD and Bank Raids. Same rules just rewritten to clarify it further to remove confusion and grey areas. New additions listed below. Add: Raid counters/takeovers are not allowed. Exception for PD, Bank and Kingdom raids. Add: If you die while defending the base you may not return to the base until the raid is over. Returning to the other side of the district is fine if you are not spectating or interfering with the raid. Add: Kingdom is its own district, leaving Kingdom during a raid will end the raid. Note: These 2 rules were changed from what they were so to encourage better roleplay, Events such as PD and Bank raid should be countered so it's higher stakes to loot inside or to overthrow the current power. The returning to the district is so that people who may die during a raid are not locked off from an entire section of that map for at most 10 minutes. Returning to spectate a raid is still not allowed. Updated Citizen Rules Removed: You may counter bank heists if you are: a cop, bank guard, bank manager, or are inside the bank with the raid begins Removed: You may not counter PD Raids if you are not a cop or are in the PD when the Raid begins Edited October 15 by F___ typo 5 1 1
