Unban Appeal

I'm in the same boat with Cullen, I was actually going to give you a +1 for unban cause I always thought you were a good mod and this was a mistake but I'm honestly not even sure after seeing what Glaze posted.

If the original post was a truthful heartfelt apology with clear details and direct wording, I'd say it might be a good idea to consider unbanning. However, seeing as how you tried to skirt around the issue (by involving your father for whatever reason, classic ban appeal), and the investigative work of Glaze pointing to the scenario being 100% intentional, you've dug your own grave.

 

As Moist said it, moderators are supposed to be the pinnacle of the community - a shining example of duty and good behavior - for the rest of the community to follow. If you were to hack, get permabanned for it, then get unbanned after trying to lie around the issue, that doesn't set a very good example of how the server upholds the rules, and other people would start cheating in the hopes that "eh, if people like me enough I can just appeal the ban! :D". I would understand if it was "accidental" or "left over from another server" (though the question would still stand on why you're hacking in another server in the first place, however, that's irrelevant), but Glaze's investigative work proves otherwise.

 

I know I'm not a moderator or staff or anything, just throwing in my two cents. Rules are rules.

Basically whenevrt i start up gmod and wanna join another server i go to single player and run up my bypass after it says bypass loaded i go to a serverr and can hacki dont know if u did it right or if you have a different bypass i can send u the vid where i got the bypass from but when i came back from the other setver and i joined titsrp i got banned i didnt type anyting in console, when i start the bypass it sticks to whichever server i join and forgetting to turn it off thr titsrp anti cheat detected it and banned me

Im fine with being banned for a long period of time because i had the hacks on and its my fault that i forgot to turn them off but not perma please not perma

Guys, be logical here. If piggy wanted to hack, don't you think he'd have done it way before? People saying "it was an intentional malicious act" are fucking retards. Now, Piggy, you did not have to mention your dad in your appeal as he had nothing to do with your situation. I think everyone is overreacting to this, and I'm 99.61% sure that this was a mistake by Piggy and that he had no intent on harming the server. Although, he has admitted to having hacks AND using them on other servers. That might hurt his reputation, but it has nothing to do with TitsRP as he doesn't hack on TitsRP. All in all, I believe that he should be unbanned, but if any punishment is necessary, nothing more than a 1 week ban. Piggy's a good person and he enjoys his role as Moderator very much, I can tell by his demeanor. +1 for unban/ban reduction.

Are we all seriously debating this still. Piggy has played on the server for a good amount of time. He even has a staff position. He could have gone rogue and fucked up the server at any moment, but he didn't.  

 

Several other staff have made it known that they hack on other servers, so why should Piggy be treated differently.

 

Remember when Sugar made some changes to what got banned for hacking and like 6 people had to get unbanned. 

 

The kid forgot to turn off his hacks. Yeah he probably tried to lie saying it was his dad on his computer because this is how you all treat people when they tell the truth. 

 

Unban the kid he can't do more damage then Dakootra.

I'd understand if he was truthful, but Glaze has debunked the whole "it was an accident" scenario. A liar and a cheater? To let that slide would be foolish. That would simply show that the server doesn't uphold its own rules just because the guy has been around a while. Ban one to warn a thousand.

All of the people who say he was going "rogue" is just silly

 

All gmod cheats are just client side. Whether it's an aim bot, ragebot, esp, ect. No hacks can potentially harm the server since the client and the server are separate worlds basically. I don't think you were trying to gain an edge, a lot of kids have hacks installed now a-days.

 

Unbanned, just make sure to turn them off
