They didn't have a weapon out when you first attacked them, they had their keys equipped. Looks like pretty clear case of RDM unfortunately, and you repeatedly killed them when they returned. 3+ is MRDM, and you just got off a 3d ban for MRDM. You screwed yourself by submitting an appeal here, 3d for MRDM is extremely lenient as it is. Now you will likely be banned for 1w, and arguably it should be 2w because you just got off a MRDM ban.
