I can't remember why I was banned. Probably a couple things. I have a habit of getting annoyed at people and saying shit to them I know one of the issues I had was spawning some harmless cosmetic props in an alleyway or tunnel or something as a hobo cave and asking people to dance or pay my twenty dollars to pass, and then calling whichever staff member removed them a wanker or something like that

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Generally speaking I try not to go out of my way to screw with other people but I find people come out of the way to mess with my stuff when I'm making a hobo shack or trying to do something that isn't in the cycle of RAID/DEATHMATCH/ARREST and that spiralled into me spamming shit in the chat out of spite to annoy people. I just want to go back to running Hobonia and have a low tolerance for someone physing me around for what I deem a non issue

For me this spiralled when I built a treehouse, labelled it Hobonia, and then had several admins yelling and physing me around in voice about how hobos weren't allowed to base with other people and I'm just thinking "why do you care about this non issue, I'm not even fckn with other people?"

You were banned for multiple repeated pedo accusations. We recently updated and honed in this section of our guidelines, so I will hold my vote off until higher staff respond, as we have lessened the punishment for OBVIOUS joking ones. We still take it seriously however.

I don't remember much about this to be honest, I probably joked saying that they were on the epstein files or something idk

A bit annoyed people take this more seriously over fucking with someone's game but sure

Considering this is your third time doing this you should have learned to not make this baseless accusations towards members of the community. Joke or not its not condoned around here.

Well exposing possible children to speech about the exploitation of kids is directly against TOS and also just really weird for a "joke"

 

Knowing this is your 3rd time, you've had plenty of time and chances to look over the rules or just simply stop this pattern of speech, but you didn't. I think you earned yourself the ban to say the least.

The only reason I considered a 6mo is because it seems like most of their active bans include a note regarding demoting people with the reason "pedo" or something regarding that

Considering you have multiple instances of being punished for PTox-related situations, I'd like to assume you've grown from those experiences and have learned that there is no leeway for accusations of that nature. We aren't particularly inclined to let things like that slide. You don't seem to demonstrate much remorse for what you said or did to others that ultimately resulted in your ban, either. I can understand Mark allowing the leniency of voting for a 6-month ban here, but I would personally need to see at least a sliver of accountability in your words before I could support a reduction.

Things that you deem a non-issue don't magically make them a non-issue in relation to the rules of the server. The Hobonia situation sounded like an easy case of you not RPing as the hobo correctly and the staff members trying to let you know, but you persisting in tip-toeing around the rules and what you were told.

You have 4 pedo accs under your belt. You should’ve been perma’d upon your third one. Direct pedo accusations (even if you are intending them as jokes) are against the TOS of Facepunch and are taken very seriously. Some allusions like “he is an Epstein” are treated differently if it is obvious joking around. That isn’t what you did though. You falsely vote demoted someone and the reason was ‘pedo’.

Accusation bans are not really appealable, you get 3 chances and you're out for good. You actually got 4 chances, which means you continued 3 more times after the first, after being told how serious it is, and that it can get you permad. It's also only been 4 months and some change, not nearly enough time considering the gravity of your ban. I'm sorry but im going to have to DENY this. You may attempt an appeal at a later date, hopefully you can jog your memory better and approach the situation more remorsefully. You might get a chance depending on the complete context of each of your punishments, but now is not the time.
