Rubik Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 A traceroute measures the packets between your computer and the destination (our Garry's Mod server in this example). Packets travel through multiple datacenters to reach their destination depending on your physical location, so a traceroute is super helpful when diagnosing packet loss. With a traceroute, we can determine exactly where the packets are dropping in that chain. WinMTR is a piece of open source software that combines a traceroute and ping into one application. Here's how to use WinMTR to perform a traceroute to the TitsRP game server to diagnose packet loss or being unable to connect to the TitsRP server: Download the WinMTR application from Sourceforge Extract the zip folder and open it Open the WinMTR_x64 folder Run WinMTR.exe The application should look like this: In the Host box, type 193.243.190.39 Click Start and let it run for about a minute, then click Stop Click Copy Text to clipboard and send it me privately via direct message through the Forums or Discord Never share your traceroute publicly because it may contain sensitive information such as your IP address and ISP.
