He then died in the explosion, came back right away and broke NLR killing me. He then became mayor, made several fail laws which are toxic and player targeting, while harassing in OOC. He also fail fired me from CP for a non CP reason, very toxic player and staff on at the time did not take any action with multiple sits made. Would like to note this went on for 45+ minutes, with no staff intervention and constant harassment. I could have linked 15 more screenshots of toxic messages in OOC but this gets the point across. EDIT after posting this the antics are still ongoing... he fired me again for killing cops when I was AFK making this post.... Very disappointed as two staff were on at the time, Sitto and xoxt (xo was talking in ooc with Dil Doe) The blatant harassment led me to temporarily change my name as I wanted to just play the game, but was unable to. Hope there is a severe punishment to match the extreme harassment endured. Make your laws general, and make them affect the entire town. Firing your CP for no RP reason is not allowed. This is an RP server please use RP or you may get removed from the job. The DMs he sent you are not over the line, and are honestly quite tame compared to some of the things that have been said on this server and let go. If you truly have a problem with these messages, block him on steam. If you just mute him in game via the tab menu, it will not persist after leaving and rejoining the server. Block him on steam to prevent any further communication. Pretty much the only law that's a problem is the one that makes YamiOG exempt from laws, and the one making people KOS for saying "anything positive about Fitness". The second one is only not allowed because you can't make people KOS outside of PD. We would probably still have him remove it if it was AOS/fine and the situation was in-game, as it can be seen as player targeting to some degree, but what he wrote is not bad at all. False firing is also not allowed, but given we can't verify if the killing other cops one was legit or not as there are no logs to check, we'd probably let it go. The "stupidness" firing is for sure just a false firing, and I'd be +1 for a verbal for that, fail laws, and maybe player targeting depending on everyone else's opinions. If you have evidence of the RDM please upload it, but after the recent changes to forums and server moderation, he probably wouldn't get anything beyond a verbal or warning due to his lack of recent priors. Lastly, please understand that we may not get to your report/appeal in the order in which they come in. This doesn't mean they won't eventually be handled (it's been two days). There is nothing "disappointing" about this, and is really just common sense. Of course, if a player reports a staff member we are more likely to respond to it first, as we'd like to get rid of potentially abusing staff members as soon as possible. We are also more likely to respond to ban appeals first, as everyday that goes by is another day that the player could be serving a false ban. This is not an urgent matter. I would be happy to submit more proof. As as this was extended bullying for 45+ mins, I do take it seriously. I’m all for tongue in cheek gaming talk, but this crossed a line too far. This player has disregard for the rules and laws, so a warn in my opinion would not accomplish much. please let me know how to pull logs from gmod files and I will submit more evidence I understand your point Blacnova, I know staff is busy it just can be a bit frustrating on the player side. Blacnova Posted March 4 Share Posted March 4 We are unable to gather logs as there aren't any available to us server-side. Unless you attempted to voteban him, no logs would've been saved automatically. I'd recommend in the future saving the logs if something like this happens. To do so, type in chat "/slogs" and press the export logs button next to the search bar in the top left. The logs will then be saved to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\slogs-saved-logs on your PC. Use Medal to clip any future issues with the player and export logs when needed.
