The Arizona Ranger
Mega-basing appears as a topic covered in the rules but it seems pretty ill-defined. From what the rules say I get the impression that it is a base that spans multiple ownable buildings. However, I've seen players build in the streets and tunnels claiming that is a mega base. Is this true? Because it would appear to me that megabases, like normal bases, require you to own certain doors. Kert Kobean
Mega basing in essence lets you and your gang take over certain districts, letting you basically "control" it as if it were just a big base. But it does require you to own the doors of that district Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24624-what-exactly-is-a-mega-base/#findComment-174164 Share on other sites
1-800-Suicide
I agree that the megabasing concept can be a bit vague but it's because not all spots on the map are the same and it's more of a common sense thing to not take over an entire district. Just think about it as a larger base made out of props that incorporates multiple individual bases or a large part within a district. I think and i suggested in the meeting that the rules should be clarified around megabases that to defend them you must be in the party of the owner. This is because it is almost impossible to make a megabase where a single front door is visible and it doesn't make sense for every single member of the megabase to be on that one front door. 2 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24624-what-exactly-is-a-mega-base/#findComment-174170 Share on other sites
The Arizona Ranger
So to clarify, just placing a bunch of props and a fading door in a tunnel between districts, such as the tunnel between district 1 and 2 would not constitute a mega base, Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24624-what-exactly-is-a-mega-base/#findComment-174180 Share on other sites
