Why were you banned or warned?

I was banned for 6 days by a moderator named vex

The ban I received was for RDM/failrp

The situation was that I /advert pd raid with a group of people including myself went into the pd to kill the mayor and as we made it into the pd I got to the mayor’s office window and ensured that no cops could get back into the pd to kill us untill my group found the mayor I did not shoot a single non pd player. According to Vex its fail rp and rdm that I continued to kill returning cops from getting into the pd even tho I was in a middle of a pd raid which makes no sense. I tried to talk about the situation but vex banned me instead of talking about the situation even tho I did not break any rules. Also if im not mistaken is it not fail rp for a cop to return to the pd while a raid is going on after they have been killed?? So it makes no sense for me to be banned for 6 days for killing cops in a pd raid. After I died I called /advert pd raid over and at that point I was jailed and banned for this. So can someone explain to me why I was banned for killing cops in a pd raid.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Because I did not break any rules I called /advert pd raid and killed cops as my group was also killing cops and looking for the mayor. it’s not a ban worthy offence that I continued to kill cops after they returned. Like what was I supposed to do just allow them to kill me and my group and do nothing?? Is it not fail to that the cops that already died in the raid came back to the pd to counter raid?

You were not banned for killing cops inside of PD, you mowed down 2 player that were not CP's and you were also shooting cops outside through PD Window, as we went over in the sit multiple times I will atach the logs, I'll post the clip tomorrow as I have already logged for the night. You also Re-raided within 3 mins for one of your 3 PD raids, as  I stated throughout the sit, two wrongs do not make a right.

Hello to answer your question The cops returning would be nlr if they kept going to into pd after death it would be okay to keep killing them what's not okay is if you where shooting out of pd window at random cps/bypasses

Well if I hit a few random people that’s my bad definitely not intentional but my intent was not to rdm randoms or break rp I was strictly there to prevent cops from re-entering the pd until my group had killed the mayor which is also another point. The pd entrance was blocked by fading doors and keypads that they put there so then your saying that I had to allow the cops back into the pd before I can shoot them again and it was wrong to kill them before they entered even tho they where clearly going to go in?? If they did not build a maze of doors and walls all throughout the pd they would of just came in and kill me I can’t see how it’s my problem that they made it difficult for themselves to get back into pd. 

 

please show me the logs about my /advert pd raid because 3 mins does not seem correct. Ik I raided the pd a few times but not within a span of 3 mins.

 

look at the logs I killed the same guy like 5 times because he kept coming back to the pd while the raid was going on so you going to ban him for nlr?? The logs said I killed 2 none pd people out of all the kills I had that’s totally my bad but come on there standing out in front while a raid is going on your saying that there’s not an expectation that they will get hit or killed while a gun fight is going on? Like if I broke rules like the raid timer or killed 2 non pd people that’s my bad no problem I’ll be more careful but it was night time and there’s a crowed there tell me if I’m wrong but people get caught up in gun fights all the time I could have complained like 50 times about getting rdmd but I did not and your going to ban me cause I killed 2 randoms that where crowded outside the raid?? Seems a bit un reasonable to me.  Like I walk anywhere near someone raiding and I get blasted but I do in front of of when there is literally crowds of people while I’m being shot back at and I’m the one in wrong if the cops did not break nlr that it probably would not of happened simple as that.

I played the game for like 6hrs last night and never once got called in for rdm or anything and you ban me for 6 days for something that makes no sense like give me a warning or something atleast first there was no attempt at mass rdm no attempt to break rules did i maybe raid the pd again to early okay fine my apologies did 2 people get caught up okay fine i understand but to ban me for 6 days over this is wild I was only trying to raid the of and kill the mayor with a group of people that where also killing cops and running around pd and I’m the only one that got called out it’s some bs.

Hi yes, pd raids ONLY involve the inside of pd, unless someone was shooting you outside of the pd first. 

It may not explicitly say "you can not kill cops outside of pd during a pd raid" but it is heavily implied through other rules. For example with normal base raids you can kill anyone on doors even if they are outside the base, but it specifically states that "Raid District rules do not apply for PD and Bank Raids." 

You can kill any cop coming back INTO the pd during a pd raid, but if they are nlring you should make a sit. Fun fact: making a sit during a pd raid and getting nlr'd allows you to restart your raid timer upon the sit ending!

I sympathize here, and upon reading the sit logs I don't see why this wasn't left at a warn. You were defending your point, and despite being incorrect in your point, you weren't really rude or terrible in the sit. You just seemed a little stubborn in your thought process is all. I feel like this was harsh and if i had been in the same scenario I would have warned you and told you what was expected and not to repeat the same mistakes. If you argue with that, then it's on you since I would have taught you regardless of you being stubborn. I will be +1 for an unban and a warn in replacement. I do not think you needed to recieve a ban based on your behavior in the sit (which wasn't bad, just stubborn)

I would like to apologize after sitting on it overnight and having a discussion about this with other staff it have clearly jumped the gun. I will lift your ban and change it to a warn, and considering the time you have lost I will compensate you whenever I see you online next.
