Loot Crate Level 3 Despawned

Mungoman wanted to celebrate his prestige with me by giving me 3 of this tier 3 loot crates. I streamed my screen with him and we both opened it anticipating good loot and while i was trying to determine if it was worth rerolling the entire loot crate despawned, closing the menu entirely before I even had the chance to decide to grab the loot. It despawned in front of both of our eyes and he worked really hard for it. Had the menu been open still it wouldn't have been a big of a deal but I didn't get anything from it whatsoever. I was hoping i could get that credited back so we could try and get the loot from it

The only reason it would have despawned is if someone collected the items from it. Maybe your box got sniped by someone running past it?

Hello.
Do you have any clips or such of this occuring? Crates [from what I know of] Don't despawn like Meth would, as they can sit in empty bases for hours untouched.
Rubik may be able to help if he digs into the deepest Forbidden logs but im not sure it'll show,

I'm pretty sure you can't snipe items from crates if the person is currently inside the item selection interface, unless you grav gun the crate away from the person and forcibly close said interface. So it's either an extremely rare bug or someone sucked up your crate and you only thought it despawned, so a clip would prob be essential for this

I agree with red.
Unless you have a clip, the only real way to determine this would be the explanation that someone stole it.

A: You and another player entered the crate at the same time [A rare bug me and Coco found, one person gets a false screen that looks real, the second gets the real screen.]
B: Someone grav gunned your crate away [Mighta snuck away, and you just didn't see/hear them steal it.]

Crates [I dont believe] Naturally despawn anywhere, you can pretty much leave a t1, t2, or t3 crate anywhere on the map for hours and it'll still be there, I can personally atest to this.

It was most definitely not stolen because me and my buddy barricaded ourselves inside the open shipping container in the corner of the map behind the longest white motel. Mungoman was the only person behind me who stood there and watched while i opened it.. The crate spontaneously disappeared in front of both of us. it was less than 1 minutes after opening i just sat there trying to decide if it was worth rerolling and it disappeared along with the screen. I really wish i had proof man. It was mungo's prestige that he just wanted to share the tokens with me to have fun. You can see in the logs i opened at least 4 more after that and had no issues. I don't know if it happened to be the location, but i doubt it glitched into a wall either because there was no actual movement it literally just ceased to exist. I'm trying to tweak this steam recording software to work with gmod but am having issues. It's just a big deal because thats like 1-2 mil easily and the prestiging is kind of a big deal and alot of work. It only happened one time, I did move locations after the first mishap to play it safe. I am working on trying to replicate this by doign the same hing in the same location for now
