Why were you banned or warned?

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

My ban constituted either a miscarriage of the rules, or I was flat out misinformed of the rules by a prior admin.

My sit was called by a player who was actively breaking the rules regarding building in the street who broke NLR BEFORE I was done raiding his base. I was then attacked by this player at fountain, from his base. The players base took up the entirety of the tunnel outside fountain, which is against the rules for the hobo faction.

I have no prior warns on record and to receive a 1w ban from a vindictive sit called by a player actively breaking the rules makes this an incredibly frustrating experience.

You called a player the f slur through a rep right after your friend got warned for calling him the same slur twice as some kind of retaliation of the rule you believe didnt exist

 

as for the NLR i think i counted 4-5 times you came back after dying to snakeeyes and your only reasoning was that his base was a failbase and he nlred first so it means that what you guys did was okay, but when i checked the logs you guys had all died to him, came back then killed him and then you guys just kept going there and harassing him again and again, and to note another staff member had already approved snakeeyes base so you guys were just kinda standing there just to continue the drama because you didnt get the answer you wanted from the other staff member. A week ban for mass nlr is the norm and im more inclined to give a week ban to someone who just decided to be toxic on top of whatever rule they were breaking

I agree with kkstoner if there wasn’t a slur added on top maybe I would be a little more inclined to say other wise but with the slur rep imma have to say -1

Very odd that KKStoner would say that he broke NLR 4-5 times when I had another mod look at the logs he counted 3 times, and multiple times that Snake Eyes broke NLR as well. This was all in the fountain area. KKStoner refused to even give a warning to Snake Eyes for NLR.

I was at fountain when this happened, Snakeeyes came back multiple times. This punishment does not make sense for a first offender, no warning or anything. The fact that this is the first time I have ever seen someone get in trouble for slurs as well, while they are constantly spammed in chat and voice is weird.

3 NLRs is the threshold for a 1 week NLR ban.

Staff do not have logs of voice chat, its up to players to report unless a staff member just happens to be nearby when a slur is said.

 

As for the NLR I can not comment on that until i see full logs/proof of the situation.



Depending on the actions/behavior of a player, leniency can be stripped away, even if they are new with no priors/verbals. I will wait until logs/evidence is posted before making any conclusions.

I think that the acting trial mod just had no level of nuance understanding when the decision was handed down. I have been in over 30 sits since coming back to the game last month and not once have I seen a new player be hit so hard.

 

Ray has been playing for around a week or so and has heard people saying slurs like that everywhere on the server, it is majorly unregulated by status quo. He has no prior offenses and should have been given SOME leniency given the player who reported him was also an NLR rulebreaker who remained UNPUNISHED by the acting trial mod. This is either bias or an abuse of power.

you, yes you got warned for saying the same slur literally right before the sit where ray got banned, youd imagine that ray could use context clues and not break the rule that his friend just got punished for but no he decided on not believing me and minus repping snakeeyes with it because he insists another staff member told him he can say it. Im not going to give leniency to someone who is playing with a player who should know better (you). you guys sat outside a base for like 40 minutes to harass snakeeyes because you dont like how other staff deemed his base as allowed

"Harrass snakeeyes" this is what I am talking about when I mean CLEAR BIAS. We were being raided and our base was in that district. We literally were asking him to let us through and he was insulting us.
