I was warned for MRDM over killing a player in casino for stealing the slot machine I was using. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I should not be warned due to the player has been told by Tacocat64 current T-Mod to not interact with me again or go back to the slot machine that was being used by me. Yet, the player kept coming back and doing anything to loophole the rules and how the machines should work. Mainly should have not been warned due to 1. Player abused a bug to skip slot machine cooldown 2. The player was in fact killed for forcing me off the slot machine I was actively playing 3. Staff have told me to warn prior which goes against one of the rules that was made due to players abusing it AKA (DO NOT warn players to leave when they are using a public item/NPC for its intended purpose) which this is in no relation to the person abusing the bug and getting reported for harassment / player Targeting Who warned/banned you? Byonic Posted February 11, 2025 Author Share Posted February 11, 2025 So that is what I'm appealing for because I see it as the player was stealing / abusing a bug and even after I made several reports he also kept making reports on me and even after the player was told to leave me alone at the machine i got punished instead its kinda hard to understand that I'm the only one who got punished when i was being harassed. I was warned for MRDM over killing a player in casino for stealing the slot machine I was using. this is not a valid RP reason to kill someone - just because someone came into the casino and started using one of the public machines that you were on before doesn't mean you can kill them -> Yes I understand the player was able to use the machine at the same time as you as for some reason there was no buffer period, but I don't believe he knew that was a feature, and after I had explained it to him he stopped. It's not stealing something to use a machine in the casino that another player was using.. he said he was doing it because there was a large jackpot (the jackpot was 800k) so saying its anything targetted towards you would be silly, I'm not sure if you are trying to report this player again or something but in terms of valid kills, none of your kills were valid, so I gave you a warning. Decent Human Being Posted February 12, 2025 Share Posted February 12, 2025 As for the bug involved in this situation, all relevant staff do their best to respond to bug reports in a timely manor. If your bug report isn't answered immediately it is because there is currently more pressing issues. I have no doubt that the bug will be fixed in the coming weeks when the issue is found. The case for killing the guy in this situation does not seem valid as said earlier, the player was not aware he was abusing a bug. Since killing him multiple times were just invalid because you do not own those public machine this seems to be a -1 from me. I understand that the player doing the bug was annoying but you shouldn't have MRDMed them because that just doesn't solve anything.
