Why were you banned or warned?

Tried to zip-tie the same person for two different, separate crimes

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Because they're separate crimes. Batman is alerted for every new crime that a person commits. Now, I understand if Person A is raiding and lockpicks, and I try to zip-tie him and die, then he drops a C4 a minute after I respawn, I can no longer try and go after him because it's the same raid. However, in this situation, the first time was him doing a C4 trying to raid someone. The next time I went after him was him kidnapping someone in the street.

This happened two minutes apart. They were two crimes in two separate scenarios. I'm using the same logic as the Mayor's Assassin job being able to kill the Mayor every time he spawns, no NLR active there, because that's Mayor's Assassin's job. Batman's job is to apprehend criminals, and these were separate crimes.

Who warned/banned you?

Decent Human Being

How long were you warned or banned for?

Around 5 minutes, he told me to make an appeal if I don't agree with the verdict

I may be wrong on this but from my understanding  as Batman you can only zip-tie someone once per crime as a mechanic that’s coded in, meaning that ot would be not possible to ziptie someone teice for the same crime. Considering it let you ziptie the same person twice to me means it’s supposed to be something that is possible, as a mechanic.

Personally I say it should be allowed, it’s not your fault you were doing your job function and the guy you zip tied kept doing illegal activities.

You also don’t mention in this if you were killed by this player after the first ziptie but I dont think it would change my answer anyways.

+1 for Warn Removal

The logs from the sit show him dying to the same criminal within a 2-minute time span. I do not currently have the logs as this happened the other day. I was not sure if this would fall under the same nlr as spirit caller where if you die you should not stab the same person for your job even if they are at a different part of the map. In Bread von Gardner's defense the events were two separate raids just two minutes apart though by the same guy. Batman doesn't have super detailed rules so I can see this going either way. The only job that I know that can explicitly break nlr on the same target is master stalker.
