iiVN7 Posted December 15, 2023 Share Posted December 15, 2023 In-Game Name iivn7 Your Steam ID 76561199233098507 Why were you banned or warned? i was infront of my base minding my own business when this guy came and tried to raid me he killed me and i came back to my base (i didnt know that this was againest the rules im new to gmod) when i came back i killed him and he decided to be annoying he even admitted in the chat that he wants to annoy me so he spawned an prop infront of my base door closing it and i couldnt come in and called an admin saying im the one who broke the rules for coming back to my base which i spent inside of it 2 and a half hours farming money so why i should let him raid it and take everything inside this is the thing i still cant get this tok whole 20 mintues of me and him and someone else standing infront of my base closed by his prop he wasted my time and his time just to annoy me after whole 20 mintues finnaly an admin came (agro) and he just told him to stop and removed his prop so i killed him i went in my base again just for him to come back and raid me again and this time he destroyed everything in my base and then i got banned for coming back to my base a very fun experience for my first darkrp server of me building a base for 2 hours just for a guy to raid me then waste 20 mintues of my life just for me to finnaly get banned 10/10 Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? im innceont Who warned/banned you? agro How long were you warned or banned for? i got banned today 2023/12/15 and the ban length is 1w 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Posted December 15, 2023 Share Posted December 15, 2023 I was told by the banning staff team to paste the logs of you constantly going back at your base while he was raiding on his behalf since he is having login issues in the forums we got this concept called NLR, which basically says that if you die, you forget everything that lead up to your death, specially in raids, you should wait 10 minutes (or whenever the raider feels like informing you that he is done with the raid, but this is optional) before going back in your base Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AS I said in my ban appeal I didn't know I was breaking the rules in that time and that the only wrong thing I did But him being annoying and admitting himself in the chat that he wants to annoy me for aboustly no reason is something he too deserve a ban for I had a reasonable reason for me to come back to my base which is I spent full 2 hours working in it Even after the admin told him to stop he didn't stop and raided me again and this time he didn't leave anything behind destroying every single thing in my base bro even tok the fucking door Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ignorance of the rules is some we are often lenient on. But the onus of learning the server's rules is ultimately on you as the player, given the readily available resources detailing the rules. Also, you had a warning the previous day for NLR. Guest Posted December 15, 2023 Share Posted December 15, 2023 As @The Worst Dad has stated, it is up to the players responsability to read and follow the rules, but even with that, us staff members' job is to teach players who do not know about certain rules, with the influx of new players coming to garrys mod thanks to youtube content for the last months we are getting new players who do not know how darkrp works, even though the ban is valid, i am willing to give you some slack, but when you come back please give the rules a good read! you may do that by typing "!rules" ingame! +1 for full unban Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mild Tsunami Posted December 16, 2023 Share Posted December 16, 2023 I do have to agree with Hobo you are made to look at the rules when you log into the server for the first time and I do recommend you to read the rules so that you do not have any more issues with the server anymore. I do not think a full unban is deserved however I am a +1 for a reduction to a 3-day ban. While you are currently banned please take the time to read the rules so that way you do not have any issues. Jewann Posted December 16, 2023 Share Posted December 16, 2023 +1 for full unban (since it has already been a day) It is partially the staffs fault for not stopping you after breaking NLR once, so I really wouldn't push for punishment past single NLR. Single NLR is usually a warn or at most a 1 day ban. You are a new player with 9 hors total who has never been past level 3. I believe a 1 day ban is a severe enough punishment for what you did, especially since you didn't understand the rules at the time.
