I wasn't given any previous warnings, and was not aware what I was doing was worth a 1 week ban. I've been playing on this server for a week now and have been having a lot of fun, my actions were not malicious in any way. I was roleplaying as an Alien Invader, but I won't do that again, now that I know that's not allowed.

Could you please provide details with what you were doing that caused you to be banned? 

Your ban indicates you were banned for both MRDM and NITRP so I think there's more going on here

Me and my party mates were the Spooky Alien class, we spoke to the mayor at the time who told us we were AOS or KOS, so we declared "war" and began to kill any police we saw. I thought that this was ok, because we had done rp's like that before. I was put in a sit, explained my story, and was banned without a second thought.

Hey finger! I banned you because you quote on quote "called a war" but you were not the leader of any faction, and you started just mrdming cops. You are not VIP and I can see the confusion that happened here since you may have not read the job rules correctly. Due to me seeing that confusion if I was in your shoes I understand what might have happened, because of this I will reduce your ban to 3 days!

You can't just 'declare war' on a specific class and then kill them freely, that would be RDM. If you killed 3 or more people this way then its absolutely the definition of MRDM which we typically ban people for 1 week. I understand that your argument here is that there was no intent to MRDM as you thought it was okay but at the end of the day you have almost 24 hours of playtime on the server and its up to the staff member during a sit to determine punishments for breaching rules. This is a -1 for unban but a neutral for possible ban reduction from me and I hope that once you are un-banned you won't hesitate to ask questions to staff if you are unsure about rules.

This was already reduced to 3 days by Darkfate so I will close and archive this on his behalf. While we normally value education>punishment you will not be given much leniency for something such as MRDM so I highly suggest reading the MOTD upon returning.
