Because I used Ticker Tape in Suga Shop for 1 mil after being warned by the Tmod not call him broke. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Because using the ticker tape does not = ooc chat and the Tmod who banned me is undertrained. I was first rdm'ed for harvesting crops from two unbased-on and un text-signed harvest zone, after attempting to call a sit with atleast 4 staff on, 3 times over the span of 20 minutes, I was brought and eventually warned for nlr (trying to figure out what happened) but that is no worry to me as I am only brough to a sit once a week. After attempting to make a sit I was warned in all chat and gagged by a Tmod because I was trying to figure out what happened. I have been enjoying this server since another was taken down for development and ever since being minged by a player who has since gone, I have been targeted and abused by new staff for trying to seek justice. I have won a few coinflips against the Tmod who banned me, but I don't see that as any reason to ban. I am a regular enjoyer of the server and have experienced constant admin abuse, I just want to enjoy what the devs have created as I find it one of the most unique servers in my 8 years of playing this game. I will wait to +1/-1 this appeal until the banning staff member is given a chance to reply, but I would like to add something. It seems as if you are playing the victim card here claiming to be targeted by certain staff members. In reality I have seen you on the server every day, and you are being toxic every single time. You use the suga shop to broadcast the message "staff are broke and cringe" or other anti staff messages all throughout the day. Shoot, I cannot even be speaking to someone in ooc without you making some type of toxic remark towards me every single time. Also, just wanted to add Malicious is not "undertrained" or inexperienced, although he is a trial mod he has been staff on our server previously. He has also played on the server for a long time. Ok, and I understand that you hold that perspective, however, I am on the server all day because I have no life and I enjoy the dev's work, I post anti staff messaages when the staff online are being afk or blatantly ignoring sits as I have seen them do over and over again. I have been targeted by hitmen that all come from staff every time you join the server toosi. and remembering now the cf's I took against Cosabelic I doubt this appeal will pass. Considering the amount of time you spend on the server I guess I can see how you might think I am wasting 1mil to trash the staff 'all day' but it really isn't the case. Goldfish0 Posted October 19, 2022 Author Share Posted October 19, 2022 I understand that they have been part of the server staff for along time now but I've heard more often that they have not become a higher ranking staff for very understandable reasons. He gagged me to keep me off his mind when other staff were just going about their normal business. All I want is to have some staff on that will actually be honest during a sit and not abuse people. You can think what you want Toosi, its very obvious that your bubble is inflated beyond belief but I will continue to try to enjoy this server until I finally pull the trigger. If staff are abusing their powers or not meeting your standards, there are outlets to address these issues. You can contact a higher ranking staff member or gather evidence and create a report on the forums. You send those anti staff messages regardless of what is going on. There are times when every single sit is being accepted and no staff are AFK yet your messages still pop up. I'm not sure why you don't try to have a genuine and mature conversation with staff members about issues you are having instead of just blatantly bashing the whole team. Also wanted to add that I have never placed more than 1 hit on you in a span of 24 hours, nor have I ever told anyone to place a hit on you, or anybody else for that matter. I'm not sure what I have done to you to make you form such a negative opinion of me, or that makes you think my "bubble is inflated beyond belief", but I am sorry that you feel that way! Look, all I want to do is open Gmod, and enjoy this one particular server, been grinding this shit like it's Runescape, and I enjoy it, or atleast I've been trying to. You can say what you'd like to try to sway the appeal Toosi but I'll be back in due time. NO ONE, wants to have to go to forums and fight over their right to enjoy something, however for this server it seems the only way to get things straight. It's sad, there are barely any active servers on Gmod like I would see back in the day, why do you people have to be so greedy to ruin the end of the fun in this game. Opila Bird Posted October 19, 2022 Share Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) As someone who was on to see most of your tirade in chat and in the ticker messages, you spent <6 hours starting arguments with random people in chat spamming the same thing over and over, and when you were told to stop you got gagged for 25 minutes, then you continued to do it again and got gagged again, then finally were warned not to use ticker to keep arguing, but you couldn't help yourself. A 1 day ban for you to get a level head seems more than fair.
