MRDM Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? - I have been playing on this server for 2 years plus - I know better not to intentionally MRDM - I previously did not have this issue so it is the first time Who warned/banned you? Darken How long were you warned or banned for? 7 Days I was banned for MRDM (unintentional), I have played this server for well over 2 years + and made many friends, back then the server had not many mods as it has now. So when I returned to this server I normally played by myself, when a friend of mine gets killed I would kill the person that kill them, which does count as RDM but at the time I did not know. People in /OOC chat would tell me that I have to be in a party for me to kill people who kill my friends, so I started to party up. Everything was fine I would kill people who killed my friends and not get reported for it not knowing I had to /Y party assist before doing so. at this time my friend Swagger got killed by people (who I thought took his pickup box (which wasn't his)) so I killed him and his team mate picked up the box so I killed his team mate as well, after that someone else picked it up so of course I killed him. NOT KNOWING THAT I BROKE MRDM I thought everything was fine until they told me that I did not party assist and that was the first time I heard about that function. This was a misunderstanding on my part I do admit but 1 week ban I personally feel is way to harsh, considering how long I stayed in the clear upon returning. I even tried to compensate them for the loss which was 2 printers because I really was not trying to MRDM WHAT I LEARNT - Read Motds and double check if someone tells you the rules - /y party assist is needed when helping out a team mate - I wont do it again and MRDMING was far from my intentions - yes I played on this server for long enough but this is one of the few times I was in party so I should have known better 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You've been here for 2+ years (according to the statement above), i dont not believe you should be unbanned. I feel like it was your own fault for not reading the motd beforehand, thus getting yourself banned, for "unintentional" MRDM, which i call bullshit. HenryDude123 Posted April 9, 2022 Author Share Posted April 9, 2022 (edited) To me this seems extremely biased giving the fact that I was sincerely sorry for my actions and offered compensation of your 2 printers that you loss which wasn't a big deal at all, but you still went out of you way to get me ban and I quote "we want justice" (speaking for yourself and your friend) which I wonder why?... That is besides the fact but Tapwater saw my appeal and acknowledges my wrong doing and thinks I deserve a chance. It is not like I am completely oblivious to the MOTD, like many others I skim through it and believe what other people tell me.
