yes, if they break a new law and you see it, you can fine or arrest them because you saw it in your new life

And for the bounty, if in their new life checked the bounty list and you were there, they can fine you because they checked it in the new life

Like I said, I dont think you understand the point of NLR. The point is if I kill you, I shouldnt have to worry about you messing with me for a good bit. You can see in the clip, plenty of people jaywalking around me and breaking laws yet im the one cuffed and fined. When or even if he checked bounties in a new life is irrelevant. If thats the case, if I go for someone with a bounty as CP, as long as I keep checking the bounty list when I respawn and see that bounty, am I able to pursue them? If we are going to allow this, when does it end? I kill a CP once, he comes back and tries to get my bounty, fails, comes back tries to arrest me for a weapon, fails, comes back, tries to arrest me for jaywalking, fails, is this Mass NLR?

If you're in a common area or close to spawn and he comes out of spawn and sees u break the law as mentioned, that's fine. If he dies to you behind the casino and he goes back to the back of casino to fine you, then it's a different story.

Rules aren't one size fits all.

Already explained why its an issue no matter what. You do not want to make it a consensus that this isnt NLR.

Either, you say its not nlr because he saw a new interaction and its really both parties fault for having this occur so close to spawn which is almost unavoidable. Or you say its nlr and the cop who died should not interact with the same players which would result in pseudo invulnerbility which does not make sense to me in a rp sense. you die to someone and they are operating in an almost unavoidable position and suddenly you must turn a blind eye to everything they do. Then at that point, you mind as well switch jobs.

I see two diff views and I can see how both somewhat makes sense and what both help avoid. Its a game, it wont be perfect, id simply go with what those in charge prefer. Whichever direction they want to take the server will be the "right" answer. I do not blame toosi for any rule breaks as there is insufficient proof to persuade me that he did this because he is "salty"

Theres a medium. If you are CP and you die, you should only interact with the player that killed you if you 1. Waited out the timer, or 2. the player that killed you did something drastic in front of you (murder, kidnap, etc.)

That doesn't really make sense to me though. So if you kidnap somebody they should be able to step in, but if your holding an illegal weapon and have a bounty they shouldn't? There isn't really much of a difference.

There really is a difference though. Me holding a weapon or being in the street is passive, nobody is being bothered. Me kidnapping or killing another player is actively harming someones life.

But your breaking the law either way lol. And regardless its not like I purposely went to the same area as you, I was literally walking out of spawn and saw you.

Irrelevant. Like I said, you are not realizing why NLR even exists. When you kill someone in a raid, they are out of the raid, you dont have to worry about them. If I kill a CP, I shouldnt have to worry about that exact CP coming back and cuffing and fining me.
