I was building a dupe that was taking me forever, i had been building ever since server reset and had to deal with many problems causing me to slow down the progress on it like being rdm a few and kidnapped by the same kid who been minging me but back to topic when im finally almost about to finish dupe, Fuel comes outta nowhere jumps on and starts saying its sky basing and it needs to be taken down since im not a preacher i told him it differs due to that little spot above pd with the tiny roof area since its been a spot for alot of dupes i see every now and then and also i need the jump swept to jump back and forth so im not prop building and breaking rules to say , i told him ill switch once im done building since i wouldn't be on once finished with it loll and that he needs to just stop bitching and being an ass about it almost bc its not really a big deal just building a quick dupe that i was gonna use later on. but then he gets mad and says hes deleting because im not complying, so since he was deleting the bridge and dupe i was making i decided to rdm him, not a smart move but what you gonna do when someone is deleting something that took you awhile to place right, those fucking bridges took me a long ass time to form just right and thats the main thing that pissed me off, but then he comes back and starts deleting again so i rdm him again beacuse at that point i didnt care he was deleting something that i was litterly so close to finishing, https://streamable.com/dwti2f Here is video of it

Let me explain the sit. First off. I noticed that you were sky basing on an area that, didn't have a public base sign/building sign. I saw you also weren't a preacher so I went to check it out. I asked you, do you have a building or public base sign? Anything to prove you actually are building? You just responded with "No, I'm building, i'll put it down later" I then told you that what you are doing is skybasing, and to skybase, you have to be the preacher job. I informed you that we as staff won't really care if it's a base with a PUBLIC BASE or BUILDING sign on top of a rooftop, otherwise you would have to be a preacher.

 

The problem is, no matter how you slice it, your skybase is simply fail in every sense of the matter. It was dangling slightly off the PD window, and was not even attached to a rooftop. You claim I am being a stickler but if I were following the MOTD with no leniency, I wouldn't allow you to build a skybase unless you're a preacher regardless of whether or not it's a public base/base with a building sign. It all comes down to staffs discretion to remove your props if they are intrusive, within reason. Considering you were not a permissable job to skybase and I informed you of the rule, (Pasted it 3 times in chat, by the way) and you refused to listen, swore at me and was being rule while I kept my temperment, I just decided there was no reasoning with you considering I told you to do something and gave you the rules to back up my claim, and you just neglected to listen for some reason.

 

I am honestly dissapointed in this behavior man. It was RDM during a sit, because this was an ADMIN SITUATION. It was obvious that considering I came up to you, told you about the rule, and you failed to listen or refused to for some reason, that it was a sit. You then choosed to do a dumb dumb, and kill me in the sit. Since you RDM'd me during a sit I teleported back to you, to finish deleting the props. I figured you would not do it again, but you did, so I jailTP'd you for RDMing me twice in a sit. You then continued to call me vulgarities requested another staff in which, I heeded your request for another admin whom I explained the story to and agreed. I then banned you one day for intentionally RDMing me TWICE during a sit which is extremely lenient, IRDM can go as far as 3 days, especially since it was a sit and devoid from RP. Also I forgot to add, not only was this a skybase, this was a fail skybase. The MOTD states:

You cannot have a base that requires special tools/prop climb. It must be raid-able by a single person using a lock-pick and/or keypad-cracker.

You had no public base/building sign that concludes this was a raidable entity regardless of how you cut it. So that's failbasing.

You cannot have a sky-base, rooftops that are not explicitly part of the base (door leading to it) DO count as sky-bases (Unless you are playing Preacher)

Overall, this ban seems appropriate given your sheer disregard for the rules and what a staff member tells you to do politely, you just ignore. When you get unbanned (I'm not unbanning you) you should use this as a valuable lesson in the future that

 

1. You should always listen to staff during sits when they tell you to do something

 

2. I gave you the rules, you still refused to listen which could be seen as failure to comply with an admin

 

3. Do not be disrespectful to the staff member helping you or play the "I was given no chances game" you were given many chances to dupe it but you instead argued continuously.

 

4. How can you improve? You should review the MOTD/Guidelines/etc! 

 

I thank you for this appeal, you are free to make a report if you feel the outcome of this was biased or unruly, but at this time I am denying this appeal. You may wait out the rest of your ban time, which at the moment is 21 hours.
