Why were you warned/banned?: Harassment

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? : Because I admit that I was in the wrong by insulting a Moderator but it should have been resolved in a warn for disrespect in a sit instead of an immediate 7 day ban.

Who warned/banned you and for how long?: Big Ass banned me for 7 days and attempted to extend to perma.

Oh so now you admit in being in the wrong? You never admitted in being in the "wrong" or bothered to apologize when I told you a numerous amount of times to stop. Listen, I'm fine with you saying that I took a sit in a wrong way BUT do not ever attack me personally. You literally attacked me by calling me retarded, autistic, and you spewed out other insults. I even politely asked you if you wanted me to bring in another staff member, you said something like "Yeah you're retarded and I want a new staff member cuz you don't know how to fucking mod" (Something along of those lines). I also banned you because if this is how you behave to a moderator, then I wonder how you act with regular players and other staff members. You literally started to curse and spew names at me when the sit wasn't even going well. You were literally taunting me to continue to try to argue with you by saying "Yeah, I fucking dare you to keep typing yeah yeah yeah keep typing". Let's say I unbanned you, I feel like you'll still be aggressive towards me and still have the same hatred feeling towards me.  

 

1) Why would I want to unban someone who literally throws a tantrum and starts to attack a person when things don't go your way?

2) Why would I want to unban someone that taunted a staff member to cause trouble?

I replied with yes and so you called Slob On My Knob. He did a much better job and when we didn't have video evidence he actually resorted to logs like the rules say. You should re-read the rules and stop abusing your power.

I mean we are obviously also talking about how you kept on calling me nasty names and being toxic. I mean the rules do state to be respectful but I guess you couldn't handle that rule. He literally did the same thing as me. I asked for video evidence and so did he. I was going to continue to talk and let him explain his side too but you kept on attacking me personally after attacking how I took the sit. Even slob said yikes after I banned you since he knew you were being extremely disrespectful towards me. It literally takes barely any effort just to say "Yes, I would like a new staff member to take a sit since I think you're incorrect". Not "hehehoeho you're literally autistic and retarded since you can't handle shit". And the entire premise for this ban appeal is how you constantly kept lashing and harassing me when I said to stop. heck, Slob on the Knob said to stop and calm down but you kept on attacking me.

I do believe that it should've been a warn or at most a 1-3 day ban and I understand that Ed was trying to just get him to stop and that it was really just the heat of the moment, however,  I do agree with Delta in how the situation should've been handled and do believe that the ban should be shortened or overall taken away.

How was that abuse of power at all? I told you multiple times to stop attacking me but you kept pushing it further. Even when slob brought you, he kept on telling you to stop but you kept on going.

I think that is very unjust, as a moderator you should be able to handle what people say about you and not just ban them on the spot, do you know how many people would be banned from the server for just saying one bad thing about an admin/moderator ? just let him say whatever as long as it inst getting overboard, and if it really comes to that, give him a warning before you just instantly ban him.

I don't understand how he doesn't think trying to perma ban me because I "attacked" him and hurt his feelings is not power abuse. This shows how bad of an admin he is.

I verbally warned him multiple times to stop and he kept pushing it further and further. Even two moderators couldn't stop him from throwing insults and being disrespectful.

DO be respectful to everyone except for Booper Scooper and furries

DO have some sort of video recording software if you ever report anyone

DO NOT be racist or offensive to other players/staff.

DO listen to staff. Even if something isn't explicitly mentioned in the MOTD, does not mean it's okay or approved by the staff team. Staff have the final decision on any matter, and if we determine something was clearly common sense enough that it should obviously not have been allowed, you will be punished regardless of it's explicit mention in the rules. Examples: "Oh, yeah, I was banned, but the rules don't say I can't just hop on a different account, why did you guys perma me for alting?!?" "I got gigamuted, you cant punish me for dodging it with anon chat!!!1!" "The rules don't say I CAN'T blow up everyone at fountain, so long as I use a drug processor!" All of these are real examples, and are why this rule is here. This is a game server, not a legal consortium. If we deem something as obvious enough we shouldn't have to spell it out so the MOTD doesn't end up having to be reviewed by legal professionals. If you're smart enough to connect to our server, you are smart enough to know why those three examples were stupid.
