Camping Mayor's Office as Hacker should be against rules

Earlier, an individual was playing as hacker and camping in the Mayor's Office and spam demoting every single mayor that got elected. Nothing in the rules states this is against the rules, and the only thing that can be done is to arrest the hacker. The amount of Hack Points required to demote the Mayor is 4, which is REALLY low and should be changed to something higher to prevent this, as well as making it against the rules to camp inside of the PD with the sole purpose of demoting mayors en mass. About 7 Mayors were demoted by this one hacker, and one of them got exceptionally mad and RRDM'd the guy doing it.

TL;DR -

Make demote mayor hack points increased from 4 to something like 7-8

Make against rules for hackers to camp mayors office and spam demote mayor.

just run into the office and arrest him, the default law is that past the second doors are AOS and it's kinda funny, also if people run for mayor frequently enough you will eventually get a mayor in before he has enough hack power to demote

 

Issue some people have is that they'll camp in the side rooms in the Mayor's Office when there's very few PD on and only come out to demote mayor, and the hacker at the time was an individual with a lot of weapons/armor, so killing him, especially as a new(er) player just trying to be mayor is hard.

Increasing the points might be a good idea but still its one hacker and hmmm he has to be in the pd somewhere

If the PD let someone slip into the mayors office like that they shouldn’t be surprised when they get demoted. Then again, I still think the mayor should be excluded from “random government official.”

Lock the doors they dont have lockpicks bruh. and if he in your office make a law pd is kos and kill him. simple or arrest him, also im pretty sure the way they declare the next mayor demoted is by the mayor election npc not the mayor office screen.

You can buy lockpicks for what amounts to pocket change here, and the issue was that these hackers demoted mayors the very second they were elected into office. And yes, you can demote through the office screen, not just through the Election NPC.

 

He cant even shoot the mayor unless hes raiding, what youve just described is already against the rules

This whole situation sounds like the natural consequence of either Civil Protection flat out not even trying to do their jobs or the lawless anarchy that comes with the territory of there being no cops.

It takes a long time for them to hack every door to get to the office and once they are there they just go aos unless the mayor goes out of his way to make the office a free walk in with a law.So stop being a lousy cop and pay attention to the pd.

-1 The demote option does not always demote mayor. It demotes random cp's the cops can come flush the office if its an issue. If you cant push into the room get someone to go smoke and gas the room out then push the room. Or ask batman to throw his smoke. get creative to deal with the issue.
