(Name, Steam ID & Discord ID if possible): This is REQUIRED. You can get their steam ID easily by pressing TAB in game and right clicking on their name. Miles Why are you reporting said player? Abusing his powers. (Claiming his own sit and unarresting a person who was in jail for his bounty). So the story starts off its me and carelos in the jail cells and were defending a raid on the pd. So Bloomy starts mic spamming meow. Carelos calls a sit for bloomy micspamming Miles come to carelos, and bloomy is upset cos carelos had a sign with the N word on it (no er with an a which is allowed). So they fight back and forth and they stop miles asks me to open the jail door and then he unarrests bloomy. I make a sit saying that he unarrested him unfairly and it was abuse of his powers. He claimed the sit immediatley came to me and says he unarrested bloomy cos him and carelos were fighting. This couldve been solved in many different ways instead of ruining an rp scenario of him being arrested for 8 minutes and not paying his bounty of 16k. florhn Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 First of all, claiming a sit about yourself is allowed. But the way miles handled this is not a good way to deal with it. He shouldn't of unarrested him, the easy way out was probably just to have the players mute each other. If they don't mute each other its their fault. Rubik Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 Let me clarify some things before this goes anywhere, staff should not be claiming sits on themselves. If this is not obvious to anyone you should re-think taking a leadership role in the community. It may not be explicitly mentioned that you shouldn't claim sits on yourself, but doing so really opens up doors for reports like this and claims of bias. Use your best judgement here, ask for help! We need to focus on helping the community, not ourselves. That is all I have to say about this, I don't think any rules were broken but I am disappointed in the way this sit was handled by Miles. You claimed that he was doing it up until that point, I ask him why he was mic spamming, he tells me he isn't, and then goes into some story about you having some sort of profane sign that he was going to report you about, didnt really care about that. I began asking what the original story was, you and whoever was in the jail cell continued to yell back and forth for over 2-3 minutes. It was very obvious the two of you were not going to be civil with each other, considering you guys were both repeating that the other was minging. You both demanded that the other person be muted. I felt as if the best course of action was to separate you two entirely. Since it was very obvious something like "you can mute through the tab menu" wouldn't be effective considering both players involved were experienced and VIP's, and I would expect to already know about the mute feature. Your story is iffy i didnt call the sit for micspamming carelos did. all the things your filling in with"you"is carelos not me. none of that was me i was just in the jail cells. the sit had nothing to do with me. i callled the sit on youf or unarresting my prisoner. Money Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 I see what miles was doing here and it was a good idea to separate them but thats not the call here you should have brought both players to sitland and dealt with it there not in the jail cells Then you just send them both back and spectate one of them to see whos really mic spamming or spectate the first time No punishment but mybe some more training also arguing with people isnt against any rules so no need to have staff get involved in an argument if they are not mature enough to mute a person then thats on them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think this situation could have been dealt with in a different way than it was handled.
