Why are you reporting said player?: Ok, so about 10-15 minutes prior to the whole situation going down, I was in the casino playing roulette with Jackey and some other dude and everything was fine, that was until we left the casino and found some monsters and started spraying them down. (At this point as you can see in picture evidence 1, I still have the shipment of the Printer overclockers in my inventory) In the process of trying to kill the monsters, Jackey got killed by a head crab and I finished it off after he died. (Start of video evidence 1) As you can see he came straight back (Breaking NLR) when I met him in the tunnel, and he proclaimed to be a hacker since he could tell me when I first joined the server. Then as I was in the menu's he then took a shipment of printer overclockers x4 from my inventory and said that he wouldn't give it back. At this point I was confused, but I thought it was a joke, so I just played along with it and followed him around the map until we made it back to the fountain where things started getting messy. When I asked for the shipment back, he said "The items are mine now". I even tried to compensate with him by asking him to just buy them off of me and just giving me like 20k or something for them, but he was just laughing and saying "The're mine now". I started getting a bit mad because I slowly began to realise that I might not get my items back, so I said "I could report you, you know, but I'm not going to be a c*nt about it". But he just started encouraging me to report him for some reason. I also said that you shouldn't even be doing stuff like this to players, and he just responded with "Yeah I can" and "Theres not a problem with doing it, is there?" (As video evidence 3 shows) After a few minutes of me just following him around asking for them back and what not, I ran to the bank near the fountain to check for like the 4th time to see if he had put them in my bank or something as a joke, but (as video evidence 5 shows) he randomly came up to me and tried to kidnap me and dragged me into the nearby sewers and left me. This is where be decided to disconnect from the server. In addition, after this point, I did try and @ the only other staff who was online at the time; Six Mag, but he ignored it, and when I confronted him in OOC about it, he said that "I'm Busy" (Which later on it turns out that he wanted to make money instead of taking tickets, when he was the only staff member online at that current time. Six Mags also said that he would also take stuff out of my inventory if he had the chance to. (Stated in picture evidence 5)

 

There was another witness who overheard some of the conversation that took place at the fountain area between myself and Jackey. Also if you need any more evidence, I will be more than happy to show you the whole raw unedited 1hr clip of the whole situation. 

 

Evidence: (My recording only picked up my voice very slightly for some reason, but not enough to understand anything that I say. But you can hear Jackey clear as day so this should be as significant enough anyway)

Photo Proof: Photo 1 shows shipment still in my inventory prior the the situation | Photo 2 I think he put 11 filled chemical barrels in my inventory, because I didn't have them previously. Also, the reason as to why he is telling me to type kill in console, was because he had just kidnapped me for the first time, and was telling me how to return to normal| Photo 3 just shows that he had disconnected after kidnapping me for a second time, and leaving me on the sewer | Photo 4 just backs up my claim as to Six Mags stating that he would also take stuff out of my inventory if given the chance to

Sorry for the long post. The reason is 1. because my recording didn't pick up my mic, so I explained the situation. and 2. because It's wrong for a staff member to take advantage of a player like this, when a staff member should be helping out around the community, not harassing it.

No one without console access can make you drop specific items from your inventory, he used a gang talent to steal a random item out of your inventory and it is rp theft.

It's a gang talent that allows a player to snag something from another player's inventory every hour or so and is a mechanic of the gangs feature-- be sure to keep important stuff you don't want to lose in the TitsBanks you can find at spawn and elsewhere on the map.

 

Also if I'm not mistaken, NLR generally does not apply to environmental deaths-- including getting wrecked by a headcrab.

 

Kinda stinky that nobody in a position of authority would simply explain this to a new player that doesn't know any better tho, and go so far as to antagonize and give him shit about it. Stuff like that really doesn't help with player retention or do any favors for the server's image.

Basically I agree with everything Cobaselic said. It’s pretty douchey for them to not tell you, six mag to tell you that he’d do it too, and Jakey to go further by claiming to be a ‘hacker’

 

They were in their RP rights yet I’ll accept this with me telling them how to conduct themselves as decent human beings and that they’re staff and should help when people ask or have problems that they don’t understand.
