I was part of hoovers raiding group and i saw you breaking NLR to watch the raid.

 

Excerpt from the MOTD: Also, do NOT return to watch a raid, this breaks nlr rules and you will get in the way of others if you are trying to or not.

 

Hmm a third whom created an account just to post on my appeal as a "witness". 

 

"You will get in the way of others if you are trying to or not."

Invalidates the point you're trying to make. The excerpt from the motd states do no return to watch a raid but the other statement adds to this, meaning you should not be near the base while the raid is still ongoing. Where I was located did not pose a threat or get in the way of the raid, I was a fair distance away and was by no means causing any trouble.

 

You have to read the full statement to see what it means, you can't pick and choose one piece of the writing and apply it where you want it to.

 

 

By standing where you stood in those recreations of the raid in your original post you were getting in the way of our raid. And i feel that you were 100% close enough to be a distraction.

 

you also continued to come back and watch after dying, why would you do that unless you were trying to be intentionally annoying/disrupt our raid?

So by being halfway across the map I was getting in the way of the raid? No buddy, you'd have to completely turn 90+ degrees to even see me. 

 

That was literally my base, I was watching the raid so I could go back immediately after you guys left. There was no intentionally disrupting the raid, I was no where near it.

 

Regardless, there's no reason why 3 of you should have created forum accounts to verify that you were a witness unless you are trying to cover up the lack of evidence that you have against me and wish to protect your friend Hoover.

 

There's no reason you should have shot me that far away from my base because you guys KNEW that if I shot at any of you I'd be breaking NLR. Why wouldn't you just wait and call an admin instead of practically spawn killing me three times?

All of these people are long time players on the server, I've known Squank (Albatross on these forums) ever since I joined the server back in February of last year, and I've seen escalera oooo (KGHC on these forums) and Taezon (Taezon on these forums) for a while after I joined the server. I don't find them making accounts on a forum very suspicious..

you claiming to be "watching" the raid, which still would have violated NLR. You did this 3 times, each with a sniper basically pointed at our heads. Whether or not you did shoot, this could easily be taken as a threat towards our raid. And the fact of the matter is, you did indeed shoot at us during the raid, so it's no wonder why we killed you.

Nothing about this is suspicious. His name is Taezon, just like in game. Not a single one of us explicitly told anyone to make an account solely for this. Now, I did tell this to my party when I saw your thread, and I quote, "If you want, you can post your side of the story on the forums." At the time, I assumed everyone had a forums account already, but I guess not.

It's very odd that you and the other guy whom posted on this appeal have one post which is on this appeal, may I ask why you created an account only to verify a witness statement? Seems fishy.

 

As I said before, nothing about this is fishy at all. He is contributing to a case that he was involved in. KGCH is "escalera oooo" in game, and he's been on the server for about half as long as I have been.

This server shouldn't keep around toxic moderators who only use their admin powers to win in situations in which they wouldn't otherwise, it's ridiculous. The only evidence they had against me was they were all friends and raiding the same base and backed up each other's stories. They didn't even check logs or give me a chance to explain.

 

Now, this might seem a little biased, but personally I don't see myself as toxic. What isn't biased is the fact that I did check logs multiple times. If you watched chat, you would have seen that I typed "!slogs" multiple times, which meant I was checking the logs of the server over and over. I was also paying attention to what you said while I was checking logs, so I was fully aware of your story. Your story did not line up with what the logs showed, much less what I myself saw.

 

I said before that I stand by my word, and I mean it when I do say that.

1. What? That makes no sense, if they were long time players they would have had a forum account by now. Seems to me you convinced them to create a forum account to back you up.

2. How the heck would you have known if I was "aiming at your heads" the entire time? You wouldn't have, which seems suspicious that you assume so.

3. Merely watching a raid in itself is not breaking NLR, I was nowhere near it. I probably would have been able to see the raid from spawn anyway, so what difference does it make? That's not how NLR works.

So they didn't all make forum accounts /just now/ to post on this appeal? Check again, they all have one post on their accounts. That's extremely weird huh, wonder how that happened?

You wouldn't need witness statements regardless if you were correct in your judgement and straight with the evidence.

5. Typing !slogs multiple times doesn't constitute looking in the logs, why would you need to look in the logs multiple times anyway? Which part of the logs don't add up? You should probably re-check to make sure that I shot you or anyone else at the raid multiple times across multiple lives, which didn't happen. I'm yet to understand how you can ban me for 7 days off a /hunch/ and because others in your party (who are your friends by the way) didn't like how the raid turned out. That's called being biased and abusing your power.

 

I may have understood if I had gotten a day ban or a warning, but a week long ban because I was viewing the raid at a distance (Hard not too with little to no other action going on at the time) is ridiculous. I killed ONE person for shooting me first. I did no other damage to anyone besides him and the logs can prove it.

At this point I'm not even gonna argue, you've contradicted yourself many times. You've acted like you've just skimmed over my posts like it was an essay prompt in sixth grade and have basically ignored all of the key parts of my posts. You've taken everything out of context, and I'm just going to let all of the higher ups decide this one. Please actually read my posts before you take things like me having a "hunch" out of an actual serious sit in which I used logs to back up my beliefs.

Alright after speaking to hooverman .We will be denying this ban appeal . This could have been avoided but you wanted to come back multiple times. Next time when you die just dont come back simple as that .
