You can't intervene when someone (not RP related to you) is getting mugged, stabbed, shot, sexually assaulted, etc but for whatever reason currently you can if you see them getting kidnapped. I think you should have to have a real reason to intervene, lots of players just use this current rule as an excuse to kill someone, it makes no sense roleplay wise.
