VixenSD Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Your Steam Name: peripherysd Your ingame name: VixenSD Your Steam Profile/SteamID: VixenSD Why were you banned?: So, basically i got banned for 24 hours yesterday for killing a trial mod trying to raid our base with a KOS sign above it. I literally bought the game 2 days ago and was just learning how to play with my friends and they told me it was okay to kill people trying to enter and take our money, so i did. So i was okay with the 24 hour ban which would have ended at 3pm today PST but I tried logging in just not 9PST and it says my ban got extended to a 7 day ban. No one tried talking to me (which i was told is what ususally happens) or anything. Why should you be unbanned?: I dont really think its fair to get banned for 7 days for killing someone who was under a KOS sign trying to break into our base and by someone who didnt even try to talk to me or figure anything out Who banned you and for how long? I will forward this to hear his side. i didn't even see anything about him confronting me, maybe its just because im new and dont know how everything works but i know i only killed him once because he was the only one i killed. I know that for a fact because I was confused as to why i didnt have a gun, my team mates told me to spawn in as new guy so i did then killed him, got killed instantly then was jailed and banned. I have team mates that could vouch that I would just kill people to kill people especially since i was new and just trying to get money so i could get guns or whatever but they told me to only kill people that werent messing without base in the RDM zone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And why did you fail to leave out that you ACTUALLY were banned for MRDM/NITRP/LTAP? So you actually went through with the RDMs, then left when you got caught. This looks like a forged story. There was no reason to I was just trying to get into our base to collect money from out printers. Like I said he was the only one I Killed the whole time I was there. I never logged out of the server I got kicked out for being banned. If I was actually RDMing people I wouldn’t be asking for an appeal I know when I’m in the wrong. Was the player TPd to sit land, and asked a few questions? I used my common sense and assumed you were attempting to go on a RDM spree. Did you look into logs to see if he had multiple kills in a short time? Did you spectate him as a follow-up, and see if he was breaking any rules after that? You killed me and I asked you why but you didn't respond. Was it one RDM? Which at most, if he was intentionally breaking the rule, a 24 hour ban? First off, you have a KOS sign. KOS signs are NOT allowed. You're right, they are not allowed. It's not really bannable though. You just politely inform him, and ask him to remove it. Edit: If you fail to reply I will deny this. No you won't. T-Mods can't deny ban appeals. It's called a learning phase for a reason. I look forward to reading about some of the staff tools you used to come to a conclusion on this player. I look forward to you explaining the common sense you used before you banned him for a week. All I know is I killed someone trying to follow me into my base after entering the code, was jailed didn’t see anything about it then was banned for 24 hours, which dealt with but I don’t think i deserve a 7 day ban. I didn’t have the KOS sign my friend did and just told me that meant I could kill people trying to enter the base, I didn’t know they weren’t allowed. You actually said "I only kill people to kill people" and then said "ohhh it was typo" I don't think so. I'm sorry, but in my opinion, it could legitimately looked like a typo. I suppose that is a matter of perception, therefore making that invalid anyways. Instead of repeatedly saying he is lying, and pointing out the menial rules he broke(KOS sign), please explain the event from start to finish to the best of your ability. This seems extremely outlandish on both sides. I would like to see logs of the event. I will be forwarding this post to Sugar. Any events in your story should show up, and correlate with what Sugar has. @VixenSD Please supply us with your steam ID, so the ban can be easily located.
