Why were you banned?: Invalid Law

Why should you be unbanned?: I wasn't breaking any rules with the laws I put in place.

Who banned you? MajorSteam

Evidence: I was banned for my law that said "7. Only CP jobs can enforce laws". MajorSteam Banned me for the rule that says "

  • Laws can not target an individual group, class, job, or person. Make your laws general, and make them effect the entire town"

This would be a valid reason to ban me if I didn't have law 8. "Kidnapping/Lockpicking/Breaking into people's homes is illegal and therefore AOS."

If you notice that this includes Kidnapping and you know the rules on that, you would know that kidnapping is KOS. Meaning that anyone who kills someone who is kidnapping would be breaking law 7.

So my law did not just target an individual group or person, it targeted the whole town.

The attached screenshot is my friend helping me get proof after I got banned.

edit: im playing scp rp while i wait on my response join me its lit

Banned for a law? that's kinda... stupid? just remove the law if that's what needs to be done, but major might have some brain damage?

He asked me to remove it and I told him it wasn't happening because it wasn't breaking any rules. So I DID have a warning.

That's called Noncompliance, which can result in up to a 3 day ban.

Even so, I am curious to see if this is actually the law you were banned for, as the logic is sound if what you say is true.

Making a law effecting a single job is not allowed. You quoted the rule yourself.

You were asked to remove the law several times and only chose to when you were brought to a sit.

You put the law back after you were returned.

You were given many warnings and explanations as to why singling out a single job in your laws is not allowed. Phrasing it in what you believe to be a clever way doesn't change what you are doing.

If you want to disobey staff orders about following what the MOTD literally says, you can take some time off to think about why that might not be a great idea.
