"tRyInG to PLaY ViCtIm CaRd" what would i report? a user who only joined the server with nitrp, to buy a gun and mass rdm. okay,sure, i won't voteban them when I literally failed to see any staff online. You came onto my appeal and clearly did not read it or give any useful information regarding my ban status or the reason i was banned, you came to simply say "report a mass rdm with @". Two mods, umbak and silent were online at the time and Umbak stopped the vote. They both agree that, what I did was not wrong and should not have been seen as a reason to inflict a ban on me for doing what I did. I did not know staff were online, a guy mass rdm'd, and i votebanned. Literally nothing is wrong with what I did. You just came onto the appeal to make a useless comment, and then typing 

 

"You know cursing on a ban appeal never helps, and also obviously you could have gone on the forums and reported it or gone to walter funny thing is someone did something similar and I just bought Walter personally and well he got on with in minutes so there were so many different ways you could have avoided getting banned you just decided to play staff and do something you knew was wrong and then try to play the victim card on this ban appeal you knew what you did was wrong and yet you did it then proceed to curse at people on this appeal honestly you need a little break."

 

Obviously this was your intention to reply with in the first place instead of making useless comments about the @ symbol. if you read the appeal i made, I stated no staff were online that seemed like they were available to take a sit. 2 of the staff members that were, which i didn't know at the time, agree that what I did was not wrong. Xior was messaging walter about me votebanning people, but i have reason to believe he exaggerated or didn't give the reason why I was votebanning them., I literally made an appeal correctly, what other way is there to deal with this? Walter has blocked communication with me on steam, and I made a forums appeal. I explained i had been warned earlier, but it shouldn't have held any type of burden on the issue at hand, when i was previously warned for votebanning. Cursing on  a ban appeal? really? I used the word "fucking" twice. and it wasn't my intention to cuss AT them, just using the word in the statement im making. In no way was I trying to come at anybody sideways, but you make useless comments and the entire point of the appeal is that I shouldn't have been banned, 4 people agree with me that what I did would be acceptable, 2 of which are the mods that were online. If i'm not unbanned, before the time of my ban runs out, Then so be it. But i believe many people would think it's harsh, for my actions, because they were as I previously stated, completely logical thing to do.

Okay a bit off topic but why is the !voteban !votekick even a rule? Because staff are suppose to do that? Well, there are TONSSSS of staff that literally do nothing and when you do !votekick !voteban they say "Cant do that while a staff is on" while I already have made the same ticket 6 times. I honestly think that rule should be removed because there is honestly no reason to not be able to voteban/votekick when staff are on. Not all staff do their job or sometimes the staff want to RP so they wont take sits.

 

 

EDIT: I think you should only be able to voteban if it's something serious like mass RDM or mass RDA. Not something like "my base got raided and failed so they broke NLR"

I agree with jawson, and this is another thing to discuss in the appeal. If votebanning isnt allowed to be used when staff are too busy with RP to take a sit, then it needs to be in place that users with capability to !votekick or !voteban use their commands, if they witness a user hindering RP experience by breaking rules. This can also apply to a user being reported, nd the report not having any evidence. It really depends, because if you just let anyone !voteban or !votekick, people would do it without ANY evidence at all, instead of even just the least bit that proves people broke a rule, but, when someone is literally mass rdming ,and someone votebans, no mod should warn or kick the user who votebanned. I also feel as if Xior told Walter I was banning 5+ people, when I only recall like 2.

a lot of people will vote yes just because they can and potentially have someone banned without evidence, fair trial, or even guilt.

the best alternative would be to gather your own evidence, the perpetrator's steam id, and make a report on forums, which you clearly know how to use.

Didn't take into consideration that yes probably everyone will vote yes on mass rdms just cuz they see mass rdms and probably false bans. Ok ok, good point buddy. I was thinking that people will obv vote yes if mass rdm cuz why wouldn't they but didn't take into consideration that everyone will vote yes even if not true.

I honestly think you could use a break. If you are getting this irritated over a ban, maybe you should take some time to cool off, you’re not just going to get your way by making an appeal and using foul language, expecting staff to take you seriously. You were told many times in OOC to stop and you didn’t.

I understand how it feels to keep on calling staff and losing all your stuff while staff is roleplaying.

 

I believe if the player was Truely mass rdming the staff would have taken care of that swiftly. 

 

If that is not case then I believe a vote ban should have been justified

first of all, who said I was even irritated? Lets see you getting banned for a reason that you shouldn't have been, I bet you will be pretty happy about it. I'm not mad, maybe slightly, but why would I not be when that's expected and you're getting upset because I used a couple of bad words on my appeal, oh no mommy pls dont whoop me. I didn't cuss at you, so if youre not a mod i was speaking to and said "fucking", then don't worry about it

 

"mods won't take your appeal seriously" are you kidding me? I followed the template, explained i had been warned, why i was banned, and why I should be unbanned. You are a fool, mods can still professionally handle my appeal, without your help, when I say 2 cuss words inside my replies.

First of all, I talked to you a few hours before about votebanning people, you started calling sits after, so I was cool with that. we got back on after a crash, you made no sits and votebanned an RDMer. Although he was banned after your voteban getting force stopped, you still made no sits. it was more of an instant reaction. I brought you, talked to you. and  I was going to let you off with another warning but you were messaging people in the middle of me talking to you, trying to get me to leave you without banning you. and I was going to. until I was notified that you were trying to get them to talk me out of it. I get the dude massed but as I said earlier call a sit.
