I was playing as the baby, a favorite role of mine. I was running through the street and hit a car a couple of times with my crowbar. I had no intent of mass rdming. I didn't expect it to explode and kill people with so few hits. I told the mod who banned me that it wouldn't happen again and was just an accident. I regularly play on the server and play by the rules. I don't think one slip up warrants a seven day ban. I can understand 24 hours, but I think 7 days is excessive. I never get on the server with the intent of causing trouble. I just wanted to play and enjoy myself and one accident in my opinion doesn't require that long of a ban. Mr. Peanut Butter Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 we could maybe have it reduced to 5 days or something but I don't see you being unbanned for Mass RDM as it can default to a week even if unintentional. Joe Manchin Posted March 22, 2018 Author Share Posted March 22, 2018 Yeah I know you only kill pedos, and sometimes i just mess around but when I hit someone accidentally I tell them its never intentional and that I'll stop. In this scenario, I never wanted to cause trouble, nor did I want to even kill anyone. Green barely let me talk and seemed so trigger happy with banning me. Again, I know the rules and follow them, and I don't think I should be unbanned. However, I think it should be reduced to 5 days or maybe a little less because I'm a regular on the server, never get into trouble, and had no malcontent when I was playing as baby recently. I was just trying to enjoy myself and I made a mistake. I just think my ban should be shortened. Mr. Peanut Butter Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 for some reason melee weapons absolutely wreck vehicles. this is part of the reason hitting a vehicle (with players in/around it) is still considered RDM, because it can explode like that and it also still does damage most of the time to the player driving. Also, if there are passengers, they are sitting "on" the car, and not "in" it like the driver is, so they still have regular hit boxes and can be damaged normally. PLEASE do NOT hit vehicles for no reason now that you see what can happen. I will attempt to contact Green and see if he can respond and would be willing to allow a Reduction to the Minimum Ban of 5 days for Mass RDM, or if he was directly involved maybe drop it down further by Dropping one of the RDM Charges or something, depending on the circumstances. Either way I know I was being an idiot, but it won't happen again. I actually didn't know how sensitive cars are. But thanks for clearing this up. Don’t think this user should be banned at all due to this very fact, it takes about half a clip of a death machine gun to destroy a vechile.
